was cruising around on the highway 5th/6th gear, i started coming down into town, downshifted a few times over a period of slowing down. Im going pass a bridge and i hear this extremely loud noise and i just thought it was the car behind me and i was like “that’s me?” 😂

Doesn't appear to be the rear end as that was replaced during the original recall. Any help on what this may be would be appreciated

OK, so about a week ago I got a service transmission warning read out on my dash along with a check engine light. App says emissions and transmission problems. Had problems trying to turn the vehicle off as the electronics stood on. Wasn’t reading/seeing I was in park. Everything seems fine mechanically minus a bunch of warnings popping up and going away,like no key detected.
So I brought it to the dealer and they said the codes disappeared and they updated the TCM and gave it back.
Fast-forward a few days later less than 100 miles put on the truck and the warning is back.
This time instead of emissions and transmission, it’s ecm and transmission.
I will say the night before this all started I did install a software update. Here are photos of the DTC’s from last week and one from today.
Anyone having this issue?

It just randomly started, help what do i do?? resetting settings does nothing, adjusting seat does nothing, its louder now.

Is this a good deal? I’ve never purchased from carvana. Thoughts ?

I’ve got a 2022 Cadillac XT4 and recently started noticing a squeaking noise coming from what seems like the suspension. I hear it mostly when going over bumps or uneven roads, and sometimes at low speeds.

Looking to purchase a XT5 as a CPO from the dealer. Original warranty has about 9 months left and then the CPO kicks in for 1 year. Want to purchase a 2 to 3 year (30-45K mile) extended warranty. Dealer is playing a game saying that the purchase price for the extended warranty is "much cheaper" if you do it at time of purchase of the XT5. My understanding is that you can purchase the extended warranty before the expiration of the original warranty and the price of the extended warranty shouldn't substantially change. Anybody run into this before? thanks

Thinking about buying a 2013 ATS for college. It has 128000 miles on the 3.6l v6. It is priced fairly well but I heard they can possibly need timing chain replacement after 130000 miles so I need a second opinion. Is there any other major issues I need to know of before I buy this car? Thanks

Hi,

I have a new 2026 CT5-V AWD with 20 inch + technology + extended warranty. Got it in December and it's got 4000 miles.

A couple months ago, I hit a pothole and the car has pulled right ever since. Happens on straight roads. When I let go of the wheel, it takes a couple seconds then heads right. It is quite dangerous.

The dealer has had 5 opportunities to solve the problem, but they can't find it. It's not the alignment, its not the wheels (they RoadForced the wheels), not the tie rods and they also put new tires on it (the new tires are Michelin All Season 4 and they used to be Pilot Sport 4S).

Apparently it is "unfixable" as they can't seem to identify the cause.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I'd like to rule out tramlining, as my 2022 CT5-V had the same tires and didn't suffer from this problem. This problem is very specific. Yes, sometimes tramlining happens and I correct the steering normally, left or right. This is another trouble altogether.

I have a very annoying issue with album art 92% of the time not showing up in the driver's info center display when I have Apple CarPlay running. Album art works just fine on Apple CarPlay and also when you switch the Cue System to the iPod input. On the iPod input(with Apple CarPlay), it will always display the song, artist, and album art from any app. However, in the driver's info center display it will also display the song and artist(no problems), but it's almost always the stock image of an iPhone 4.

Any ideas to fixing this weird issue? On rare occasions the album art will show up without any rhyme or reason, but if I change songs - whoop there it's back to the stock image of an iPhone 4 and probably won't come back. Doesn't matter if the app is Apple Music, Spotify, or anything else. This bug happens if I use a wireless CarPlay dongle or directly plug my iPhone into the car for wired CarPlay.

I'm also apparently running the very last version released for Cadillac's software update for the 2016 Cadillac models if that matters at all. Thanks!

In order to transport my wife I am looking for a vehicle low enough for her to be able to get into from her scooter. The seat height of SUVs and crossovers is too high for her.

I have now learned that the trunks on Cadillac CT4 & CT5 are smaller than the trunk on a Nissan Altima.

GM: Not everyone wants or needs an SUV.
