Check-in 1.5 Weeks Out Natural Pro Qualifer 182/5’8
Sitting right at the weight cap, gonna start really depleting soon. Also added comparisons from 1.5 weeks out last year, where I was 177lbs.

Tying everything together for first show! Happy with how everything is coming together as I shave off the last layer of fat to display 3 years of work on stage.

I had initially Planned to do my first show at the end of November, but because I was ahead of schedule as far as conditioning decided to do one at the end of August. My coach wants me to do a few categories to get some additional stage time so I'm more comfortable the bigger show in November. I'll be doing Men's physique true novice, Masters 50+, and Open. I don't expect to do well in Open but feel like I can stack up well in True Novice and Masters.
My lower lats are one of my weak points now and I know I won't be adding much if any new tissue in the time frame I want to work on them more. What is your go to exercise for that?

I'm trying to understand how people actually fuel before lifting.
For those of you who train 4–7x/week:
What do you eat before your workout?
Why do you choose that instead of something else?
What’s the biggest thing you DON’T like about it?
If you could magically fix one thing about your current pre-workout meal, what would it be?
What would make you completely switch to something different?
The more specific the better. Thanks!

My Reddit account was hacked and I’ve only just got my account back, but 50 days ago I travelled from Aus to Italy to compete in FMG.
Managed to win both my categories(physique and muscle) gaining my pro card in men’s physique.
Here’s some pics from show day!
I had competed a month prior and was told I wasn’t lean enough, so after three weeks of zero carbs eating around 1800 under maintenance, I lost the last bit of fat around lower back and glutes and got the top spot!

I have trouble engaging and thus training my biceps especially on my dominant arm because my brachioradialis and - to a lesser extent- my brachialis are prone to take over curls.
I’ve had injuries to my tendos in the past which might have contributed to this but I currently don’t feel any discomfort so I’d assume they are solved.
This problem has been going on for years, I’ve struggled a lot to find exercises that felt right for the biceps and had found dumbell curls on an incline bench to work well. However, I recently stopped working out for two weeks due to a surgery and when I got back to doing curls I again felt the brachioradialis much more sore than the biceps, which means to me that they were more engaged.
Any tips or clues to connect to the biceps more and / or to isolate them more? I also do barbell curls with a straight bar but it’s a big exercise and I don’t feel I can isolate the biceps all that well when I do them.

Trying to move from Classic up to Heavyweight/Super Heavy. What side chest do you guys prefer with that in mind?
I know my posing sucks - hence me asking for advice 😂

I picked up this iso lateral row today. The gym said it was Hammer Strength. After getting it home and looking at it, I’m not sure if it is, or if it’s a super high quality replica.
The only marking are the circular graphic by the handles which seem newer.
It’s definitely old. It has to be 25+ years old.
Any insight is appreciated.
