Wrexham at home first up.

From Boxing day to the second week of Feb we play 8 sides in a row who were either in the prem or top 10 of the championship last season...

[Glen Williams] Cardiff are progressing in talks for Jens Hjerto-Dahl. Cardiff sources have indicated that there is growing optimism behind the scenes that they are firmly in the race for one of Norway's brightest young talents

Irish Bluebirds

I'm a Cardiff City fan from Dublin. After heading down to Cork for the pre-season game there during the week I'm curious if there are any other Irish Bluebird fans? Mainly wondering if there would be people travelling to games from Ireland that I could get in contact with. Any info is appreciated.

Alright lads cork city fan here, I’m trying to find out if I buy a match pass for our game tonight can I watch it on demand? Had no interest in the game but we’ve got a fella making his debut and a couple of trialists playing, but I’m not sure if that’ll entice me to go out more than Spain vs France is keeping me in lol

No Sign of a timeline for club memberships and first batch of tickets being released?

Anyone know when we might see these going live? Looking to get this sorted asap! I know me looking exciting after the comedy we did against midgetland.

Cant wait to back the boys win, lose, rain or shine or hydration break

Starting 11 today and what our our key areas to strengthen ?

Football is back, with us only signing Trott so far (brilliant signing and price) - what’s the current feelings on our strongest 11 and what areas do we need to focus on? For me the obvious one is the Wintle replacement - do think Robertson can do well there but we need more depth. We need a really exciting winger who can score goals and back up at left back.

I personally would try to sell Chambers and bring in a more physical centre back as well.

Will also be interesting to see if any youngsters can break through this year in a tougher division

Season ticket sales?

Any idea how they’re selling?

The club was doing pretty consistent updates, 5k, 10k, 12k, 13k but I’ve not seen anything for a while.

I’d be disappointed if we haven’t crossed the 14k threshold yet.

Cardiff City top

Hey folks,
Coming down this weekend to Cardiff, from Scotland, and a colleague wants me to attend the friendly game with him this Saturday.
Any suggestions on where I might be able to get my hands on a Cardiff City top so I can blend in without breaking the bank?
Would there be any sports shops in the city centre that might still be selling last season's top? I rather not part with £75 for a new one for one game.

Players we’ve seen in the EFL who have gone on to be world class?

Seeing Olise has got me thinking, which players have we played against in the EFL who’ve gone on to be some of the best in the world? They don’t necessarily have to have performed well against us

MAJOR TRANSFER RUMOUR FOR BBM'S BLUEBIRDS

Anyone want to make one up? Feels like it's been a while since any news from the club, and Glen Williams article on a LinkedIn job post isn't setting my shorts on fire. I reckon something a bit believable if a bit exciting, like Dom Ballard's requested a transfer to the better capital city.

[RUMOUR] Lawlor to West Ham?

See the usual summer nonsense on Facebook earlier about West Ham keeping tabs on Lawlor. We know h's a special talent and will be hard to keep him, but would we be upset if he went to a (probably temporary) championship side?

/r/bluebirds End of Season Awards 2025/26 Nominations Thread

Welcome to the Nominations thread for the 9th annual /r/bluebirds End of Season Awards!

Those of you who have participated in these before will likely remember how this works, but for those who don't, here is an explanation. (Last year's thread for reference.)

Listed in the comments below you will find a number of parent comments for each of the different award categories. To make a nomination, simply reply to a parent comment with the name/moment/whatever else you want to see nominated.

Feel free to make as many nominations as you like in however many categories. Where possible, please try to avoid making repeat nominations in the same category. Hopefully all categories will be nicely filled out by next week but if some aren't I'll try my best to manually fill them out a bit before voting commences.

As a reminder, here are the awards with a brief description.

  • Player of the Season

  • Most Improved Player: Who has made the biggest leap compared to their form in 2024/25 or the early part of the season?

  • Signing of the Season

  • Goal of the Season

  • Best Game of the Season: Most exciting/impressive overall team performance, or most entertaining game

  • Worst Game of the Season

  • Best Moment of the Season: Most pivotal/exciting moment of 2025/26. Can include anything, a late goal, a signing, a club announcement etc.

  • Worst Moment of the Season

  • Unsung Hero of the Season: Who perhaps flew under the radar but deserves recognition?

  • Most Underwhelming Player of the Season: Who underperformed or failed to live up to expectations?

  • Most Impressive Opposition Player: Which opposition player impressed you the most against us this season?
