West Ham United Crysencio Summerville signs four-year deal with Al Hilal in around €70m move from West Ham
Crysencio Summerville has signed a four-year deal to join Al Hilal from West Ham United for a fee just above €70million (£60m).
The winger completed a medical in Amsterdam on Tuesday and has put pen to paper on the agreement.
Summerville’s contract at West Ham was not due to expire until 2029, but the 24-year-old has been expected to depart the London Stadium this summer following the club’s relegation to the Championship.
The Athletic reported earlier this summer it was expected to cost approximately £50m for West Ham to sanction his departure.
Roma had made a bid worth €46million (£39.12m; $56.21m) for Summerville this month. Manchester United had also enquired about his situation, while Aston Villa expressed an interest.

(Sebastian Berhalter from Vancouver whitecaps and US national team with his old teammate and current Boro CM Morris)
Not sure how true the rumours are that he’s in the process of his medical with us, but he’s previously played for Hellberg’s old club, Hammarby.

Discussion Who are the best and worst famous fans of your club (in your opinion)?
For us, I'd say the worst is probably Rishi Sunak (Rupert Lowe was chairman a long time ago but doesn't seem to actually be a fan).
Best could be Craig David, Lucy Pinder (maybe not so much since we canned her fella) and Chris Packham, though Google also tells me Ricky Gervais, Liam Gallagher and Dame Judi Dench are fans and I'm dubious about those...

Southampton [The Athletic] Southampton’s Tonda Eckert charged with bringing game into disrepute over ‘Spygate’ by FA
“Eckert has now been charged by the FA with bringing the game into disrepute in three cases (Middlesbrough, Oxford and Ipswich) and will have seven days to respond. The worst-case scenario is Eckert receives a ban, prohibiting him from coaching. Although sources close to Southampton — speaking on the condition of anonymity — believe this is unlikely, there is a precedent for this.”
