Southampton [The Athletic] Southampton’s Tonda Eckert charged with bringing game into disrepute over ‘Spygate’ by FA
“Eckert has now been charged by the FA with bringing the game into disrepute in three cases (Middlesbrough, Oxford and Ipswich) and will have seven days to respond. The worst-case scenario is Eckert receives a ban, prohibiting him from coaching. Although sources close to Southampton — speaking on the condition of anonymity — believe this is unlikely, there is a precedent for this.”

Discussion Help me choose a match to attend in September
I am visiting the UK from Canada in September, and I want to attend a championship game while I am down. I dont have a UK team that I support, so I just want to be able to attend a good competitive match as a neutral football fan! I am going to be in the Manchester and London area, so there are multiple games that I could make it to on September 12th, depending on how I plan out my trip.
- Bolton vs. Cardiff
- Blackburn vs. Millwall
- Preston vs. Lincoln City
- Watford vs. Stoke
I am looking for a mix of crowd atmosphere, how nice the stadium is, what match will be most competitive, etc. Would love to hear everybody's thoughts!

Discussion What do you guys find worse. Toxic negativity OR Toxic positivity
It feels like 80% of a fanbase fits into either of these 2 categories. While only 20% have realistic takes.
E.g feel i'm only seeing West Ham fans either say we will get 110+ points and walk the league or moaning we can't sell quick enough and not got any players in so will be lucky to get playoffs.
I hate both but I actually think I Hate the toxic positvity fans more. It was so annoying them saying after every loss in the run in that we would be alright and results will go our way and to back the boys.
I think most of us would like to think we are in that 20% of fans who dont fit in either category but which side do you guys think is worse?

West Ham United Al Hilal agree €80m Crysencio Summerville deal with West Ham
Al Hilal have agreed a deal with West Ham United for the signing of winger Crysencio Summerville.
The deal is worth a total package of approximately €80million (£68.23m) and a medical is scheduled ahead of the proposed move to the Saudi Pro League club.
A long-term contract for the Netherlands international is also ready, pending the final authorisations being completed.

Discussion God help us
So West Ham looks like they're keeping Nuno and Jarrod Bowen and they've sold Fernandes & Summerville for over 150 million combined. Do you think they have a real possibility of beating Reading's record and getting more than 106 points this season? I feel like this is the most scary team we've seen in awhile in terms of team quality and manager quality and adding a warchest full of money.

Question How many of you have sky sports
With sky sports having 24 games of your team a season I’m debating whether it’s time to get it through NOW TV.
Historically I’ve always gone to around 3-4 Stoke games a year and the rest just looked at highlights or read about it on bbc sports live text.

Discussion You will be amazed by West Ham this season.
Amazed by how shit we are! I'm not kidding.
I'm seeing lots of comments about how The Mighty Hams™️ are going to walk the league and everyone else will be battling for second place.
Well, I've been a Hammers fan for a long time (I remember us winning the FA Cup, though I was only 7 at the time), and believe me when I tell you, it's been 99% bitter disappointment.
If you like to see your team commit a giant killing - well, ok, a 'slightly bigger boy' killing - you'll have two golden chances this season.
I'm still buzzing for at least one season in The Championship though, bring it on ⚒️
