What’s up with all the lights on SW Scholls Ferry Road not working? Literally ALL the lights aren’t working.

Trying my luck here… Looking to make friends (and maybe find something meaningful) 😊

Hey everyone,
I’m a 28-year-old guy who moved to Hillsboro from Arizona almost a year ago. To be honest, it’s been harder than I expected to build a social circle. I have a few friends from work, but outside of that, I don’t really know many people, and it can get pretty lonely.
I’ve been wanting to make this post for a long time but kept talking myself out of it. I figured I’d finally give it a shot because I’ve heard the Hillsboro community is really kind and welcoming.

I’m hoping to make some genuine friendships, and if life eventually leads to a meaningful relationship with someone, that would be wonderful too. No pressure though—I’m mainly looking to meet good people, hang out, and enjoy life together.

A little about me:
I enjoy exploring Oregon, scenic drives, coffee, trying new food, movies, and EDM/music festivals.
I’m always down for a walk, grabbing food, checking out local events, or just having a good conversation.
I’m open to trying new hobbies too.
If anyone is in a similar situation, wants to hang out, or has recommendations for groups, events, or places where people actually meet and make friends, I’d really appreciate it.
Feel free to comment or send me a message. Hopefully this is the start of meeting some awesome people and leaving the loneliness behind.
Thanks for reading! ❤️

And now I can’t find the thread! My bad. I shouldn’t have wandered off. I need to get cracked really good and am looking for both Portland and Beaverton recommendations. This would be Kaiser self-referred. Thank you.

Lost dog

Hi my girlfriend’s family lost their dog earlier today out near SW Rigert and 181st. If anyone lives out there or knows someone out there who could keep an eye out we would greatly appreciate it.

His name is Mako he’s a larger German shepherd and very anxious not aggressive at all. He’s generally scared of people he doesn’t know but he likes other dogs so he may approach someone if they have a dog with them. Unfortunately he wasn’t wearing his collar when he got out and I don’t think he is chipped. They aren’t sure how long ago he got out.
