I've been a part of the beatboxing community for a long time. I'm super familiar with many different artists, different events, different YouTube channels, sounds, techniques, etc. I want to start developing my own pieces. My issue is that I hyper fixated on sounds, so I have what I'd consider a unique sound palette with almost no understanding of how to progress in combo development. I would say my sound palette is a kind of mixture of WING and Trung Bao, with some other weird textures in there. I definitely don't want to fill in the same niche of WING or Trung Bao, I wanna do my own thing. But, I know that one must walk before one can run, and I fear I haven't really taken any steps at all lol.

So, I call upon the power of the nerds of beatbox; pls help. Tell me your process, how should one git gud. Any resources you found helpful, any practicing schedules or techniques you prefer, any mistakes you made, any philosophies you have, I wanna hear it all.

so I think I’m doing chest or throat bass here but I’m not sure. Video link in comments. Please tell me if it’s horrible 🙏. Also wondering if there are any ways I can transition this into different basses. I can already do vocal chest bass and okay throat bass.
