I'm a solo iOS developer and I've been building CVPilot, a small app that checks your CV/resume for ATS (applicant tracking system) compatibility. You upload your CV and it gives you a score, a breakdown across 5 criteria (with the exact lines it's reacting to), and concrete fixes you can actually apply.

As someone who recently started living on my own, I kept blowing my grocery budget, then I'd be shocked at the cashier when I saw the total, so I'd feel a bit embarrassed and end up putting things back because I went over. It's frustrating because I had no idea how much was already in the cart while shopping, I'd only find out at checkout.

So I built an app called GroceryBudget, basically you see the running total as you add items to the cart, and there's a budget bar too so you know right away when you're about to go over. To log quickly, you can scan the tag with your camera instead of typing or adding by voice.

It beats using a calculator because it also remembers the price per store, so you can see where things are actually cheaper, like vegetables being cheaper at the wet market than at the supermarket.

And if you forget to track while shopping, you can just scan the receipt afterward and it'll log the whole trip for you.

what app can you like post about daily updates, random thoughts and also gain followers. Not twitter, I've seen some Koreans use apps like these but other than that I've not heard anyone mention anything like this. it's not like I wanna type complete paragraphs and all, just rants and random thoughts.

I kept needing to add subtitles to videos and got annoyed with the usual flow: upload to some site, wait, download something almost right, then fight the timing editor.

So I built a small native macOS app for myself. Pick a video, choose the audio track, generate timed subtitles on the Mac, fix text/timing, preview a caption style, and export a new file without touching the original.

Requirements are macOS 14.6+ / Apple Silicon. There’s a short free trial if anyone wants to poke at it.

So I spent the last few months building an iOS app called Leo around a much simpler idea:

Instead of managing lots of habits, you commit to one challenge at a time. The app tracks your progress, celebrates milestones, and encourages you to continue even if you miss a day.

Hello, I am a solo developer that has created an app called BARGAINZ, a secondhand online and in person market scanner that ensures you are finding the best deal on any product.
The idea came from when I bought something off marketplace. I am an avid user and always love a good deal for reselling or personal use. The product I bought was a moped and from what I knew, 1000$ for the moped I bought seemed like a good deal. I ended up getting half scammed and lost 500$ when selling it again weeks later.
After having this happen I realised this all could have been prevented from just asking more questions and looking at more details when looking at the moped in person.
So after realising this I had heard of other people having similar issues, and the prominence of people getting scammed on the secondhand market, so the idea of BARGAINZ came along.
The app works through taking photos or screenshots of the product in person, or the public listing on Facebook, eBay, etc. the app then uses ai to scan and give a full verdict that tells you everything you need to know, ask and see when buying a product. There are other various tools that help resellers and general users to make sure you are getting the product at the best price.
We are currently in the upload phase for Apple and android, the app is available on the web at: bargainz.deals. I have already used this app multiple times in person and have only seen good from this, but I need more people and opinions.

After streaming a lot of music on my phone, I was in the mood to just listen to some local over-the-air radio stations. I found out that it’s not so easy to find an app that does this simply and isn’t made almost unusable by lots of annoying ads.

That was the idea behind creating this app. It reminded me of a friend who owns a lot of tech, but once said he wished he just had a simple radio in his kitchen to turn on and listen to.

Hi everyone, I have been working on an entertainment based app for a considerable amount of time now to the point I am happy to try and push it out a bit. My question is however: How many testers should I have and who should I choose. I want this group of testers to be able to interact with each other, and I am planning for this testing period to be around 2 weeks then shut it down, and see what bugs/problems need to be fixed. I don’t know the app exists or if it is accepted by the appstore, but I just created a prototype using StevenBlack unified hosts list and I can happily play casual games without interruptions.

How would you name it?

I was looking for an app, where i can keep my shit together.

I was tired of keeping all the tasks and habits scattered around my mind, notes on phone and on notebooks. I couldn't see the progress i made, and it felt boring. So i locked in.

I searched the internet, and found pretty good app and templates, but those apps, were very scattered, some app had a feature which other didn't. Features which categories my tasks based on priority (Do now, Later), Stats like heat map to see my progress overtime and streaks, interconnection between web and mobile app, and a clean ui with creative stuff (surprise for u all).
