Trying to watch a movie on my iPad to my tv, using an usb hdmi adapter. And when full-screening, it shows a white bar on top that I cannot get rid of for the life of me. Can anyone help

I recently acquired an iPad Mini and since then it seems like my phone (and thus my Watch) don’t get the notification in priority…

Before, my watch would buzz, and alert me of a message, and it would then appear on my phone (logical as the watch draws the notifications from the phone)

But recently, it turns out my watch doesn’t vibrate anymore and instead my iPad Mini is the first to receive it, then only my phone shows the notification

I’ve googled anything I could related to priorities and notifications but of course was shown results regarding Apple Intelligence’s prioritary notifications instead… I’ve never heard of a setting to say « notifications go to this device in priority and are then replicated on the other ones »

I’ve restarted my watch several times, I’ve toyed with my focus modes and their allowlists, but still nothing… could it be linked to the apps’ « background refresh » being enabled on my phone and iPad but not on my watch ?

It’s nothing too bad in itself but gets a bit frustrating…

i have 65000 items in my camera roll and don’t want them all to transfer to my new phone when setting up. is there a way to select only certain ones?

also, if this isn’t possible is there a way to not allow any photos from being transferred without blocking other data transfers like contacts and messages? (i haven’t had a new phone in a good few years so i don’t remember)

if my phone battery is very bad, and it dies out of nowhere, like physically turns off or something well that affect my phone settings

The reason why I’m asking is because my girlfriend said something about her battery and it’s true. She’s always on her phone. But now her location says location not found and this never happens at all. Could that be possible that her phone broke down or something? Or is she hiding it and turned it off?

App Store suddenly disappeared and I can’t enable it back. Each app I want to download is shown like here or opens links to redirect to the App Store. I didn’t disabled via Screen Time, so what can I do?

so i have a failed payment on the app store because i didn’t get paid until now, i only have one active bank card which is my cash app card that has my money on it, however my cash app card got removed from my payment methods (i only have an old card added that i can’t use anymore) but every time i attempt to add my card to pay what i owe (so i can download apps) i get an error message: “There is an issue with your payment method. Update your payment information to correct the problem and try again.” i have tried changing my billing address and the wasn’t the issue, all my information is correct, how do i get around this error without need a complete other card? i look at the apple support page for how to fix the error and all i saw to add a different card to pay off the balance then add your original card.

Hi guys, I have the 17 pro and it just got the most recent update. I'm trying to airdrop pictures for work from my phone to iMac and it keeps saying airdrop failed. It won't let me send any pictures. I've tried, turning my phone on and off, turning the Bluetooth/wifi on and off, and setting the airdrop receiving settings as everyone for 10 minutes. Please help!! Thanks!

I was spending time to do research for the mac mini setup. A reddit user said don't buy the mac studio, get the mac mini. I'm deciding to get Mac Mini M3 or M4 Pro.

I can't afford the studio display, but I will have to get LG 27BA850-B with inside speakers and webcam. I want a 1080p monitor because I want indie/retro games to be a smoother gameplay.

Mac Mini M3 Pro Chip with 18 GB RAM, and 512 GB storage: I checked it on eBay. I thought M3 Pro was cheaper than M4 Pro, but M3 Pro isn't.

I hope Ulanzi QT01 Aluminum Alloy Case is gonna fit for the Mac Mini M4 Pro. I also will get a monitor stand for the HD monitor. The 1080p monitor won't be wobbly.

I couldn't find the good AirPods Max alternative, but I will get AirPods Max 1.

Is there a good monitor stand for the Mac Mini setup?

I use Unifi devices in my home network, including a U7 In-Wall , u7 Access Point and a Dream Router , and I am experiencing issues when switching between 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz. My iPhone Air fails to switch to the 2.4 GHz band when the 5 GHz signal becomes too weak, even though it should logically switch at that point. I am not sure whether this is a bug in iOS or a misconfiguration of the Unifi equipment.

My 2019 15 inch MacBook Pro just showed service recommended as the battery condition yesterday, and I was wondering how long it would take to be serviced at an Apple Store. If I were to call ahead to schedule an appointment would it take less time than if I scheduled online, cause I have searched online and it seems like at most the process itself takes 2-3 hours which is fine, I just need it to be finished by August 10th-12th.

edit: I live in the DC suburbs and the appointment is next Monday

Hello. I downloaded a film in .mkv, played it almost til the end, and then the picture stopped and the player lagged. I restarted the film and it lagged on the first 10 minutes, so I decided to restart the computer. When it booted it was unresponsive, so I restarted it again and suddenly my password is incorrect. What the hell was that?

Hello! So currently my iPad will be working and then randomly the audio starts glitching out. It’s sounds robotic, echoing, and glitchy. If I restart the iPad then that fixes it for a while but then it’s starts to do it again after a day or two. The software is up to date, it’s running iPadOS 26.5.2 (I think?). I just can’t figure out how to fix it. I bought this iPad from Costco about 9 months ago. It’s the normal size iPad. I don’t think I have a warranty on it so I don’t think Costco will be much help. I don’t know if it’s hardware or software issues.

Title is pretty self explanatory. Basically, I’d like to go to my local Apple Store and trade in my old iPhone 12 mini and iPad 9th gen for credit towards an iPad A16. I’ve seen people talking about how you can only apply credit from one device towards a new one during a purchase, but is it possible to trade these both in for gift cards, and then apply those both to the purchase of a new device? I was hoping to do it all in one trip, but if that wouldn’t work, could I even do the trade ins in store and then use the gift cards online? I personally don’t have much money to spend around…

My kid changed from Android to iphone 12 some time ago and due to her mother not knowing better the iphone was set up on the parents account and all images and so on were transferred.

Now the kid of course wants her mother's account gone and use their own, and the mother also wants he account for her self only.

I understand this is difficult and stupid but here we are.

Is there a way my kid can have all their data transferred to the correct account?

Available to us is a regular old Thinkpad laptop, an Ipad and android phones.

appstore isnt opening too says" the paged couldnt be loaded" so i cant try any other search engines

clear safari cache n history nothing worked

+ whenever i try updating software it says an error occurred while checking for software update

I'm having a strange issue with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. My battery health is 97% with a cycle count of 270.

I have the Maximum Charging Limit set to 90%, but my phone refuses to charge beyond 80%. It consistently stops at 80%, even if I leave it plugged in for a long time.

I've already tried:

• Restarting the phone
• Double-checked that the charging limit is set to 90%

I'm not sure if this is due to iOS battery optimization, temperature, or if something else is going on.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on how to fix it or what I should check next?

Hi all, I’m desperate for some help. About 3 months after returning from a trip to Canada, my iPhone 17 refuses to connect to a T-Mobile tower and is constantly looking for Rogers service. So, I don’t have any cellular connection.

It’s been two weeks of being bounced back between Apple and T-Mobile, both on the phone and in-store and the problem has not been fixed. I have done every reboot and reset possible, set up the phone like it was new and still have the problem.

T-Mobile’s last statement (other than blatantly lying to me and saying they’d put a note in my account so I could get a new phone on a store, which didn’t happen and the store said couldn’t happen) was that I had to return it through my Apple warranty because the phone is only 4 months old. Apple said maybe they’ll look at it if I mail it in but because all their diagnostics say the phone is fine, they won’t replace it.

Anyone with knowledge, tips, suggestions on how to either fix the problem or navigate the T-mobile vs Apple blame game?
