Yes another ToneX cab question
I've been considering the ToneX Cab to amplify my modeling rig. I currently use the Two Notes Opus along with HX Effects and am sending my signal to FOH with the Strymon PCH (which has been awesome btw).
That said, I am also playing in a group where we use amps/cabinets. I like the Opus rigs I've created and have been looking at a bunch of FRFR cab offerings. Had the Headrush FRFR wedges but didn't like them. Sounded very hollow to my ears.
The ToneX Cab is on sale and I wanted to see what any of you guys have experienced. Thanks.

Two Notes Opus owner considering Strymon Iridium
Hey all.
I've been using Opus for a good while now and its been great. Not perfect (what really is?) but great. I have it after my drives and before my time-based effects. Pretty standard.
That said, I've been struggling a bit with some of the Fender tones as they seem to be a little "hollow" if that makes sense. Takes a lot of tweaking to get close to where I'd like to be and honestly, with all the adjustments I have to make trying to get there, ear fatigue sets in which makes me question trusting my ears.
Watched a couple of videos on the Strymon Iridium and it might get me where I want to be. Looking for opinions on that. Lmk. Thanks.

SumIR — free web-based IR summarization tool
I wanted to share something I built (full disclosure: with Claude), a simple web-based tool for summarizing a bunch of IRs into one statistical average of them that you can then save. It's free/open-source (MIT license):
I made it for myself so I don't have to sift through the sometimes endless-seeming variations when I get a big pack of IRs (and/or if the IR maker didn't provide one or more summary IRs themselves).
It can also highpass/lowpass the resulting summarized IR, which is useful when there's not a good way to do that in your modeler or other 'amp-replacement-device'. I use the TKIP which has, to me, weird frequency choices for their highpass/lowpass filters (plus you have to select them in the app and/or save a preset, so then you can't change it unless you're tethered or using MIDI). Now I just leave them off and bandpass all my IRs explicitly with this tool. It also renormalizes the output file to -0.2 dBFS so all my IRs are a consistent loudness.
You can also upload just a single IR, that you already have, and high/lowpass it with whatever frequencies you want. The slopes are fixed though, -18dB/octave for the highpass and -12dB/octave for the lowpass (this is what the filter stage on an SSL 4K E/G channel uses).
Hope some folks might find it helpful for dealing with IRs when you're on the go (or about to go on!), like if you need to quick send something to FoH or use with in-ears, etc.
Privacy/security: everything that matters is sandboxed in the web browser, it's just running on a barebones web server on Vercel's free tier (also on GitHub pages at: https://geoffsmithbk.github.io/ir-summary/ ). The files you 'upload' never leave your computer (Vercel/I never see them or the resulting summary IRs you 'download'). There's no scraping, phoning home or other funny business. No ads either (for now). It's pretty easy to clone and run locally as well if you 'github'. ✌️

UgriTone IR's in a Torpedo
Hi gang,
I've recently bought a Torpedo for practicing at home with my tube amp. I like the idea of using some of the UgriTone IR's for heavy stuff, but can't find any clarity on how they work.
It looks like you get a heap of different IR's for different mic positions and then blend those yourself in a cab loader. I just want one IR of an already blended / mixed tone to use for night time playing when my daughter is asleep, but one that better suits the recorded sound of the genres I'm playing than the perfectly crisp default sounds.
Do the UgriTone packs include this single, already mixed IR sound (like they use in their demo tracks) that I can load into the Torpedo and use straight away? I really don't want to play around with any settings at all if I can help it.
Thanks!

HELP! im very new and very confused.
Hello, I use a Scarlet 2I4 hooked up to my laptop running NAM or Amplitube and I wanted to model an amp to practice with. When I model it in NAM its so delayed its impossible to practice with. Am I meant to practice with it? or is it only to be used for recording? I also wondered if I was able to run my guitar to my scarlet to nam then to my amp but when I do that I only get my dry guitar sound
