It feels so good to read that guys want this machine so bad seem to work professionally with computers nowadays... are here so many guys with such a background? Where do you come from? Amiga loving Gamers? Sceners? What are you doing now?

Amiiiiigaaaaaaa!!

I recently found an Amiga 500 in the recycling center.

I have now gotten Gotek with a usb drive from amigastore.eu. Everything loads up fine but the keyboard on the Amiga seem to fail on many keys - the arrow keys works but many of the other keys does not work. This includes the keys I need to add the adf file to the list of images to be able to boot from it.

So how can I auto start the amigatestkit.adf image without using a keyboard?

Guys. Whats the easiest way to make configure the RGB2HDMI software to use the max screen space available? I have messed with the settings in Geometry and the screen gets smaller not larger. Is there a easy process?

A curious observation which is possible OT.

I just bought an extension cord and noticed the sticker said Amiga AB.

The cord is made by Intertek, so I assume Amiga AB is an importer/reseller to the Scandinavian market, based in Sweden.

This doesn't seem to affect the system usage, as it still boots up from disk just fine, but sometimes when I do turn it on, the power and drive lights sometimes don't light up properly. I suspect it to be the cia chips, which I'll eventually replace regardless, but rather than get ones pulled from another system, are there any modern replacements that I am not aware of?. Kind of like how the kawari is a modern replacement for the vic chip in the 64, but for the amiga.
