An ambient post-classical (?) track taken from an renaissance piece by Bauldeweyn. The notes were shuffled about and reordered without adding any new ones. I actually reduced it back by taking some notes out that I didn't like. So it is a bit of a selectionist strategy, like in evolution.

Only the fittest notes survive :)

AND... it has been re-attributed to Bauldeweyn so I need to change that

The first one is sort of a classical marimba thing, I was inspired by Steve reich. The second is much more ambient, and is the result of me messing around with a synth recording I had.

This is my first ever single I spent the last year writing and released a few months ago. I main as a composer and have experience writing ambient music for meditation tracks, but loved writing this song and have plenty more (other genres) planned for release sometime in the near future. Today is the 18th of July and I have released an hour long album on Bandcamp.
This is my first annual album so I hope you'll enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed producing it.

“Ambientes Vol. 1” is an EP featuring five soundscapes born from improvisation and experimentation with effects pedals and digital tools.

Description:

Improvisation is a constant in our existence; sometimes we seek it out, and other times we simply have no choice but to surrender to it.

We may wander aimlessly for the sheer pleasure of it, or because some unseen weight upon our shoulders quietly urges us on. Amid the chaos of city life, whether by whim or necessity, we often find ourselves in places we never knew we were searching for.

These compositions emerged from those aimless walks. Though I did not know where they would lead, I knew they would take me somewhere, and that along the way I would learn something new.

Much like life.
