Feelings Why do AMAB littles seem so overlooked?
Hai everyone! 🌙 Kolya here.
I've been wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or if it's just been my experience.
I'm an AMAB little. I'm pretty androgynous, I'm a femboy, I love cute things, cuddles, coloring, spooky movies, and all the cozy little stuff. I'm basically your average little... except I'm not a girl.
It feels like the moment people find that out, everything changes.
I've had a few conversations with potential caregivers where we were getting along really well. We'd laugh, talk about our interests, and things genuinely seemed to be going somewhere. Then they'd ask if I was a girl or a boy.
The second I answer "boy," my heart kind of sinks because I already know what usually happens next.
Ghosted.
No explanation. No "sorry, I'm only interested in girls." Just... silence.
Now, if someone is looking for a romantic relationship or they're only attracted to women, I completely understand that. Everyone has preferences, and that's okay.
What I'm talking about is the feeling that AMAB or male littles seem less accepted in general. Sometimes it feels like people automatically picture a little as being a girl, and if you're not, you're somehow less cute, less valid, or less interesting.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Whether you're an AMAB little, a trans little, a caregiver, or just someone who's been in the community for a while, I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts.
Do you think AMAB littles are overlooked? If so, why do you think that is? or is it just people dont like femboys
I'd love for this to be a respectful discussion because I'm honestly curious if this is just my experience or something other people have noticed too. 💙 thats all peace
