If they wanted to stretch the album cover, in my opinion the third option would look much better than filling the entire screen; some covers look extremely strange.

I recently cancelled my YouTube music subscription. Figured I can listen to music with ads similar to Pandora. But I can't listen to music when I open another app or close my phone. So I might as well just listen to music on YouTube like it's 2010? It's basically just a podcast app without premium access. I'll say this though, they let you add your own music on desktop and listen without ads.

I keep getting spammed with AI "Artists" like this guy for example. There is no way to block an artists completely so my only recourse is to dislike every song that gets put in front of me. The only issue is that these guys create more songs faster than I can listen to them.

Please put a stop to this.

Just curious how many YT Music users employ the app EQ settings or do you listen without and let your external device "color" the sound?

For context, I did not listen to the black eyed peas before listening to Cocteau Twins, so the "first song you listened to's lyrics staying for every song" glitch does not apply here. The last song I listened to was Gone by The Sundays (second photo) and the lyrics on that song are wrong as well! Does anybody have any guesses or answers?

5 more "artists" blocked. Not sure what's going on with some of the other quick picks, some are genres I never listen to, some appear to be songs listed by record labels whose pages show 10+ albums released in the last year but under many different (real) artists.

It seems that a lot of my other recommendations are based around American patriotism and Christianity for some reason....

How long before I have blocked every AI artist that YouTube wants to push on me?

Is there a way to report this to get this fixed? While all of Takanaka’s music is still on his page, this kid is somehow also listed as Takanaka, making it to where you cannot create a mix from Takanaka’s actual page.
Also, YouTube seems to have this Bacco kid mixed up with another older artist by the same name

this half view to see the queue makes the album art fill but with a nice vignette and does not cut off. they should really do this instead of the full screen thing.

Do anybody else face issue with the yt music queue system like whenever i add a song to my queue it never ever plays any song in the queue it’s just plays random songs instead. If you have any fix please lmk. \ dynamic queue is off btw **

Thank you for the silent bus trips because offline play kept malfunctioning. Thank you for the 5+ minute loading times (Of course, that must be my fault because I have over 1,000 songs).

I just moved my playlist to YouTube Music with one click, and it’s running fast. For me, it’s over paying for something that doesn’t work.

Despite having never interacted with Christian content (except to dislike it when Youtube recommends it to me) and having no interest in it, Youtube always makes mixes for me that with Forrest Frank this or Praise God that.

Nothing against people who listen to Christian Music, just really not for me.

I like YouTube Music's library, recommendations, and playlists, but I don't really like the app's interface. I'm looking for a way to use a different music player app with a nicer/customizable skin (maybe material expressive stile) while still accessing my YouTube Music account.

Are there any apps, clients, mods, or open-source projects that can do this? Something similar to how third-party Spotify clients or custom players work would be great.

This remains in my speed dial first option even though I haven’t listened to this album in months I love the album but realized after like a month it stayed and didn’t move I just find it kind of funny how I listen to different stuff everyday but this still remains and won’t leave lmao

So… I see that there are some band profile that are floaded with singles from another artists like AI slop (in Shaman’s case). I see the same in Animetal’s profile (which it seems that they aim for bands that aren’t so active, or finished.

From the Nile’s profile, there is another artist that labeled his single in the technical death metal band, even the guy himself being a “soul/pop” Music artist (?)

I even listed in this post, photos from another Music streaming just to prove that the Rite to Remain actually exists and the EP self titled is from them, not from Rise to Remain, which only released City of Vultures album.

To make this clear: in YouTube Music, the EP Rite to Remain is from the band Rite to Remain which doesn’t have a profile. The Rise to Remain band is another profile.

Team YouTube, can you guys take a look in this matter?

I have tried re-adding the songs, but they disappear again too many times.

Another day, another morning spent removing AI slop from my YTM suggested music. 20 songs on quick picks reduced to 8 after eliminating all the slop.

Why is YouTube/Google so insistent that I listen to this crap?

It won't even let me delete Echo Harper. I'm not actually sure if Rain Paris is AI, not really looked into it yet. All of the other 12 songs/artists I removed have "published" 10+ albums this year pretty much, spamming generic and uninteresting crap with exactly the same art on all of them.
