Shitpost Déjà vu in its early stages

It’s been a little over a week since I got stung by a swarm of angry paper wasps. Thankfully, we were able to get rid of the giant nest. But big surprise, I was going outside to go do some trimming of the shrubs only to find this hanging on the right side of the window. But nothing insecticide cannot handle so I’ll be waiting until after 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM to prevent that small, but demonic looking thing from growing.

Question Has anyone gotten edema from a wasp sting? Should I go to the Dr or manage on my own?

4 days ago i got stung multiple times by the same wasp on my right knee.

The symptoms haven't been crazy, day one was pain that eventually went away, and then day 2 I had itching, day 3 I had itching and the area was very warm to the touch, and the redness spread to a larger area around my knee.

Now im on day 4 and have basically no itching, but as I was driving down the road I noticed my leg was slightly swollen so I pushed on my shin and noticed I had edema. I can push my fingers in like a sponge and the finger imprint stays there for a few mins.

I naturally freaked out a bit that it could be liver, heart, or kidney issues but since its hot happening on my left leg I figured its probably due to the wasp.

Google says I should promptly go to the DR which isn't exactly an easy thing to do.

Should I just monitor symptoms or is this potentially serious enough to go get checked out by the DR?

Havent been stung in many years so im just unsure if this is normal or not.

Thanks for any advice

Question Best spray for killing individual wasps?

I have a wasp swarm in my backyard, but their nest seems to be from some neighboring yard down the street. Can't figure out where.

I see a ton of recommendations here but they always include prioritizing killing nests.

Which spray would you recommend for targeting individual wasps during their active hours? Bonus points for anything safe for nearby pets and plants. Thanks in advance for any help.

Question Wasps sitting lethargically?

Hi, I moved a wasp nest recently at night that was near the house (they'd made a nest inside a little chest) I grabbed the chest, threw it in a plastic bag and took it to the back of my garden with the buggers angrily buzzing inside, covered it with a rock but was pretty sure they'd get out eventually.

A few days later there is about 10 of them clustering around where the chest was. But they seem oddly lethargic and just sit there the whole day, no sign of building a nest. They move a bit and sometimes one or two flies away. They also climb on top of eachother.

So my question is what the hell are they doing and should I just try and hoover em up in the evening?
