Report, don't respond

The mods can not read every post in the sub. If someone is breaking the rules of the sub, hit the report button instead of trying to one up them.

We have a bot that tags people who are active in the Walmart Employee subs. If an employee is being abusive they will be banned permanently with no appeal. There is a future update planned for the bot that will automatically place a usertag on everyone who is a Walmart employee so you will know when one is replying to you.

*Someone disagreeing with you is not against the rules. Spite reporters will also be banned.

Warning to Walmart Plus Members: A driver falsely claimed a "threat of violence" over a missing tip, and Walmart instantly banned my account.

I wanted to share a massive safety loophole and completely broken corporate practice with Walmart Plus that just cost me my account.

My paid Walmart Plus membership was abruptly canceled and my entire account deleted without warning. When I finally got a customer service agent to look into it, they dropped a bomb: my account had a "threat of violence" safety flag put on it by a third-party driver.

Here is the catch: My delivery instructions are strictly set to "Leave at Door." There was absolutely zero physical or verbal interaction between me and this driver. They dropped the groceries and left.

The only logical explanation? The driver was disgruntled over a missing tip and abused the Spark app's safety reporting tool to retaliate against me.

I took this to the BBB, and Walmart Corporate actually responded and officially confirmed the reason in writing: "Ms. Gupta's Walmart account was closed due to a 'threat of violence' safety flag submitted by a third-party driver. Walmart's account review team has decided that Ms. Gupta's account will remain closed."

Walmart's "review team" didn't investigate a single thing. They ignored my spotless history as a customer, ignored the fact that it was a contactless "Leave at Door" delivery, and are blindly taking the word of a lying gig-worker. Because of a fabricated report, my address, email, and cards are blacklisted, and Walmart told me to just deal with my bank to get my membership fee back.

Be careful out there. Walmart is running a "shoot first, ask questions never" policy where any unhappy driver can completely weaponize a fake safety report to destroy your paid account, and corporate will rubber-stamp it to protect themselves from liability.

Just Venting How to Fix the Walmart Pencil Dispenser

Post image
4 Upvotes

There's a few disgruntled teachers out there who found the front panel on the Pen n Gear pencil dispenser is bowed inward and the pencils can't get out.

I put a painting sponge inside (walmart brand Hello Hobby) and it pushed the wall out justenough to work as intended.

(Note: the bowing might have happened while sitting in my hot car in 100 degree weather. Don't leave these in a hot car or hot delivery truck)

First Time Customer walmart shipping

Upvotes

an item that i’ve been looking for (that is constantly sold out of) is being shipped to walmart tomorrow. does anyone know if there is a predicted “best time to go” or do all walmarts have different shipment and stocking times where it’s kinda unpredictable? the item is a children’s toy if that changes anything

also idk if this needs to be said or not, but it’s not pokemon and i’m not a scalper 😭

Delivery The shipping tab that was on the Walmart app is gone for me?

I see other people are having these issues I just hope that tab comes back for shipping because I don't know what qualifies and what doesn't without it.

So I'm trying to order some chips and it says I'm getting charged and extra $6.99 because I haven't hit the $35 threshold and I'm like wait a minute... Where's the shipping tab? Like it doesn't even give me the option when I go to check out to choose shipping instead of delivery for small orders.

It all says free delivery because I'm a Walmart plus subscriber but it's not free if they're charging me $6.99 especially when I'm paying a monthly fee for the Walmart Plus subscription!!

Last night I was able to order a shower curtain, and I got it through shipping and it's on the way right now. But now, as I'm trying to order food that I always do through shipping, it's not letting me and I am a little more annoyed than I care to let on. I hope that tab comes back because I can't shop properly without it.

What's the deal, why am I no longer able to get stuff shipped from Walmart? Am I the only one experiencing this, this is very recent. I rely on shipping versus being able to pick up or delivery to get stuff to me.

Walmart is trash!

I purchased a few pairs of Muck Boots a few days back because they were on clearance for $16, originally $92. I received delivery and noticed one pair was missing from the package. I reached out to customer service and asked for replacement but since that color was no longer in stock they could not offer a different color instead. So I received a refund. I also had another order for a four pack of collapsible bins, package arrived today with only one bin. I was again not offered the three missing bins only the option to return it. After all is said and done I asked since I missed out on two great deals and now have to travel to a store to drop off the package if Walmart would not offer some type of compensation. I was told my account was ineligible for any kind of promo. WALMART IS TRASH! Rant over

Just Venting Semi update regarding a friend that banned from Walmart nationwide

So the first time I posted about this I got flamed to hell like I was the thief lol. For one, thanks for letting me know what scan and go actually is. But yes, the friend did get trespassed due to stealing. What he would do is he would get a bunch of items but some he would scan and others if the employee wasn’t paying attention he would throw other items into a bag and play it off like he scanned but he really didn’t.

To put it out there because that’s another thing I got dragged for in the last post, no I was never involved with that. The first time I saw him do it, I left immediately and I kept telling him for months to stop doing this and actually pay for the items because Walmart is watching 24/7 and always eventually catches you in the act. Welp fast forward today, they did catch him at the door, made him sign a form and he’s banned nationwide for life. I talked to him again before I went to work and told the best thing he can do is for one not steal again, stay away from Walmart and in a year or two call and see it can possibly be lifted (though for shoplifting I doubt it)

Return AC unit after use

Hi all, does anyone know how strict Walmart is with used returns? I bought a midea AC unit and it's not doing a good job cooling my room. I've used it for two days but would like to return it. Will Walmart accept it in this condition? I have the original packaging and box, and all the parts it came with. Thanks in advance!

Ordered tires because I had a flat and Walmart towed my car

I bought a set of tires because I had a flat and rolled into Walmart parking lot. I did not want to have my car towed afraid of damage so I thought I’d just get tires there. I ordered them and signed paperwork that I was leaving my car. Walmart cancelled the order 5 days later and I went into the store and ordered 4 more. The next day I got a text my tires should be there so I went by after work and my car was gone! Freaking gone! The asset protection asshole had my car towed even though it was there at the tire center with paperwork to be repaired. I spent 4 hours in the store irate on the phone with the 800 number and they were even disgusted with the stores service. The 800 number told the store to fill a claim out for me but they refused so he gave me the number and I submitted my own. The store manager wouldn’t reply or even call the store her sorry ass needs to be demoted. Nobody did anything. I called the tow truck service and he thought they were idiots he didn’t charge me for the haul. He charged me to take it to another tire shop from his facility. They only had one sign in a super center parking lot saying you could be towed which was on the other side of the building and the service listed got busted over 20 years ago so there’s really zero signs. They towed approximately 24 other vehicles the same day the tow truck driver said. I paid another place for 4 tires and an alignment due to the tow truck dragging the car up on the truck. Can’t make this shit up!

Curbside Walmart pickup

Are we as customers supposed to help the Walmart pickup employees load our groceries in our vehicle? I’ve always thought we were to stay inside and they take care of it but now I’m seeing sometimes people will get out and help them load the groceries. Are we supposed to stay in the car or get out and help? Just out of curiosity question & wondering what everyone else does!

Walmart LMD Delay

Post image
1 Upvotes

Anyone have experience with a same day shipped by Walmart order delay? 3 orders shipped and were supposed to arrive Sunday. They all haven't updated since after 2pm Sunday. Support says they cant look into the status of the order and that my only options are to wait or cancel. I dont want to cancel because these items were on clearance and are no longer in stock.

Has anyone else's order eventually arrived in this situation?

Returns/Refunds Looks like my number was flagged

After waiting the time frame for a delivery that got stolen. I called them to complain about why I never got an email about a decision on my refund. Each and everything time I called I got we are gonna escalate the ticket. Ok, cool. Now what I didn’t realize is that what I ordered was from these “Walmart approved” 3rd party sellers. So I contacted them. Got a response on Monday and they said to contact Walmart cause they don’t handle refunds. So here I am no money, no order and call up Walmart and now I can’t get a HUMAN. It just kicks me to the AI.

Did Walmart downgrade their pizza rolls? Or do different cities get different quality products?

Top row is pizza rolls I bought when I lived in Frankfort, KY. I moved to Chicago, IL 3 months ago and recently bought a bag, which is what the bottom 2 rows are from. They're noticeably smaller. Both are from bags of Great Value 130 ct pepperoni pizza snack rolls.

Just Venting A friend got trespassed and a lifetime ban from Walmart after doing the scan and go method for a course of a couple months. Advice wanted.

So my friend was huge with the shop and go method. His main target was Walmart. This morning he gave me a call, being hella nervous and he told me that he was stopped by loss prevention and the cops at the self checkout. They checked his license, took him to the back, snapped a photo of him, and made him sign a form saying he now trespassed and is banned for life however they didn’t give him a copy of that form. So, I did my best calm him down and did a little research. They say that lifetime bans do have a chance to be lifted but that is only after a few months to a few years. Is that true and what exactly can be done about this ban?

tipping for non-grocery

so sometimes I order something that I intend to get shipped but it ends up getting delivered by a driver

sometimes they leave it in a package room for my building (in an apartment), sometimes at my door and sometimes they knock

for a single item, like for example a google streamer that is small and lightweight electronic device , do people still tip on these kind of orders?

Is Walmart ever going to fix their website?

First, they sent me long-expired product. And, now their website is broken, and keeps giving a "technical error" when trying to do a return/replacement. Why do I even bother with this company?

EDIT: I don't expect an answer; I'm just venting...

Trespassed from Walmart.

So I got trespassed from Walmart today for "buying all the toys not giving anyone else a chance". That's what ap said to me very rudely and just walked away. I kept asking if we could I'm have a conversation but Walmart ap didn't want to talk and the cops said they don't really have a say on this and to call corporate. As I was walking out police approached me asked for my ID and said I was trespassed .My girl works for a school and all the kids love the viral squishes. She told me if I ever find any buy as many as I can get so she can pass them out. I collect hothweels so whenever I'm at Walmart to find some I grab any squishy toys I see. Tonight I found some and bought them all. 3 cases of needohs. I have done this a few times in the past and the employees are all cool about it. Never got a warning to stop or was told I cannot do that. I check the pallets to see if they are on there and again employees were always cool and never told me it's a problem. I use Walmart for car maintenance, shopping etc and this is 5 minutes from my house. I was hoping I could reverse this if anyway possible.
