These classes are encouraging procrastination for me and I just want to get my degree started. Will I be refunded the 49 dollars if I drop them?

My laptop is OLD so I’m searching for a new one. I like my Mac and I’ve been thinking about getting the MacBook Air M5 2026 (has 16gb RAM). Does anyone else have this laptop? Has this been a good laptop for your classes?

I’m open to other suggestions! My major is elementary education. No budget.

I often go through some of the lessons if I have any downtime at work and obviously looking at it on my phone is much more convenient than lugging my laptop around. I’m in one of the programs that has a lot of reading material and then paper writing, so it’s very easy to just read through course content on my breaks or whatever. My mentor previously told me mobile app logins don’t count towards academic activity, even if you’re in the course material. This seems sort of silly if they have an app, but what have you all heard about this?

I’m new to this school and I only received an email stating that financial aid disbursement had been applied to my WGU account. May take 10 days processing. Tomorrow will be 10 days I haven’t recorded any further updates.

I have three courses I have yet to finish, d426 d427 and d280. I havent started d427 and d280 yet, I had an issue happen that caused me to be set back in school work I only passed one class and im just waiting for some free time to knock out d426 exam. as of now it says if my term ended today my sap would still be in good standing, is it better to not start the last two classes or is it better to try and knock them out fast? I could possibly knock out d427 fast since it related to d426 but not sure about the last one exactly.

If I dont start them do they show up as failed on my transcript still?

I get really stressed in my OAs and for one of my classes i failed enough times to need a success plan. Which worked well as it bumped my average response and grade from pa and practice from like 70/78ish to a solid 86/98 range and I felt confident. However my schedule is hell and its been like pulling teeth to get peer meetings. I can only really do them super early and its dragged my class out almost an entire month just trying to get three calls as booking has mean weeks of waiting. Which naturally also means im groggy and half alive for the calls for the same questions I have answered online and its significantly worse and harder to hear then an online assessment. Which added to that I am very anxious and bad with people

I was ready, my head was in the game and now im just a nervous annoyed mess who just wants this class over but I can feel myself slipping having to wait weeks on end

Im taking SSO Intro to IT courses. I've attempted the final exam for the 3rd time, and I am extremely frustrated. I don't know what to do, I tried using quizzlet but don't know how to find the correct one. I spoke to my instructor, and he told me which modules to study. I passed the practice exam. It was different from the actual exam. The instructor said to go over the Areas of IT and IT infrastructure. Im ready to give up, What to try next?

Has anyone successfully transferred their WGU BS IT to Georgia Tech Online Masters program? If so, how was the process? How is it going?

I found out the hard way. I took both classes through Sophia... And they told me they are not receiving statistics as external credit from any company (I.e. Sophia, study.com...). Welp... Let's hope I don't fail now...

Alright, so here's my dilemma:

About two days ago, I made a loan revision to borrow an additional amount of $3000. Today (7/22) I get an email telling me there was a disbursement has been applied to my account. However, this seems to date back to my Jan-June term in the amount of $1274 - I know from research that requests like this are usually split between the two, but this also isn't even half of what I requested. July-Dec doesn't show anything yet.

I apologize, for some reason I feel like this is confusing me far more than it should. Can someone walk me through what's going on here, if you have any idea? My main concern is that it's not even split evenly. I'm missing an additional $1726, is essentially what the problem is.

I completed Fafsa a week before I started my current semester as I did last year as well. Last year it processed and awarded in 2 weeks.

I am on week 3 of it being stuck on processing.

Financial services said there is no issue on their end and it should process soon.

Is anyone else in this situation or have been in this situation?

I am looking into getting a bachelors in HIM. I went to college previously so WGU has reviewed my transcripts. But i’m also looking at doing Sophia learning to complete some courses before i start. they have my start date as september. was it easy to switch the start date?

also any advice for sophia learning if anyone else did transfer credits through them to save time/money. i’d appreciate any advice or experiences.

I am seriously debating on what online school to pursue my bachelors in. WGU is at the top of my list considering my lifestyle and day job. I am curious to know alumni’s experience with hiring and what the general outlook is when you have a degree from WGU. Do employers take it as seriously?
( I am aware that WGU is fully accredited)
Just want to know what some of you have heard from hiring managers and their outlook on the school.

I have a bachelors degree in social sciences but I have been working as a developer for 3 years now.

I really would like to pursue MSCS in the USA for future job prospects, networking, new environment, etc.

I am not eligible for many MSCS programs since I don't hold CS bachelors degree and I thought this online degree would be a good idea.

I have following questions:

1) Has anyone managed to get in MSCS after online CS degee?

2) Will this degree make me eligible for MSCS?

3) As I researched here they don't have traditional letter grades or GPA. How did you include your grades in your application when applying for MSCS?

So I’m curious if you need to already know the material to succeed at this college. I’ve seen a few posts saying how difficult it is with the material they give you because it’s not thorough enough and so on. I have an associates degree in business management and plan on possibly transferring to WGU for a BS in accounting. How is their accounting program?

I can't seem to get mail from sources besides wgu.edu, so I can't send myself mail from my personal gmail, and most importantly I can't verify my "vitalsource" account to see my books

After 5 attempts I finally passed this exam!!!

I’m working through my course, but for some reason I’m not getting the green check mark on my lessons? Is it because I’m not spending enough time on them? I watch the videos and complete the check your understand questions but still not getting the green mark for some reason.

The sad part is, I really thought I did better.

I failed the first time because I didn't take my time with the questions and hadn't nailed down concepts. If you want my advice, use the WGU Instructor Videos/Live Instructor support it helped a lot. I know this isn't a crazy score, but it is a passing score which is all I wanted. Hope you all can have the same success night owls!
