I’m thinking about getting a big mouth LED snorkel but for the price are there any other mods that would be better for looks or performance? I already have an intake so that’s why I was leaning towards that.

I cannot believe how well this car performed in July heat in Florida. Honestly the limiting factor for me was the PS4s getting too hot by lap 3 each session. Now i know to drop that PSI down!

My car is currently at 134 000kms and I was just wondering if it is necessary to get my Dual Clutch transmission fluid replaced? It was suppose to replaced during my previous car service (Service 3) however I ignored it since I was tight on cash and my local car Delearship quoted me 499$ CAD + Tax. Would it be important to get that done sometime soon? I baby the hell out of my car and never drive it aggressively.

After my Miata got totaled, I’ve been on the hunt for something as affordable and fun. I used to be a hater but my wife convinced me to purchase a 2019 1.6T Turbo through Carvana. The first test drive blew me away, it felt nostalgic and familiar. Like a Miata on steroids. We owned it for about a week, we were planning on returning it due to engine issues that the warranty company denied (P0300) and other cosmetic stuff.

Feeling bummed, we were searching for a car and found this VN for sale that was newly listed. Completed the exchange process immediately and do not regret it.

It needs tires and brakes bc Carvana’s quality control is horrible (I know, I used to work there). But nonetheless, I feel like I got a steal. Best bang for your buck hot hatch and so much fun to drive. In comparison to the 1.6T, it’s genuinely a night and day difference.

Luckily these cars are manufactured in Korea and previous owner took care of it. Engine and chassis is in great condition for 86k miles.

Things happen for a reason and I’m glad I convinced my wife to upgrade from our original choice. If you have any recommendations on tunes and other bolt on upgrades, please let me know! This will be my wife and I’s project car.

Hey everyone today I test drove a 2022 hyundai veloster n manual. I really loved the car as it was fast and sounded good in n mode. I currently drive on weekends my 2007 hyundai accent that I have modified like header, intake, lowered ,17s and short shifter with few rare sr parts.

The only thing I didn't like about the car is how pushing and releasing the clutch. If i was to buy this to make it my weekend toy to replace my accent is there away I can change the way the pedal feels to how my accent or a honda does?

Just got the tbw undertray and it fits good, the only problem was the two end screws on the radiator support too short. Besides that looks great im satisfied, and now im waiting for winter to test it out.

I’m thinking about doing a resonator delete on my Veloster n, but I also do a lot of longer drives and I don’t want it to be droning while I’m going interstate speeds. Does anybody that has already done a resonator delete have any input of how it sounds on a regular work commute?

I am hoping someone else has run into this. After it rains and that this later of rust forms on my rotors, when I go into drive the brakes will "pop" free and then they work normally.

Has anyone else run into this and what was the cause/fix? Is this something that I need to get addressed rather soon?

I was driving the other day and heard this weird scraping noise and I’m not sure if it’s just a small rock in the brake system or a wheel bearing. I just threw new wheels and tires on and the specs are 225/40r18 with 18x8.5 +45 if that changes anything.
It’s hard to hear over the crickets in the background but it’s a consistent pulsing grinding sound.

Looking to buy this Veloster N. Only 5k miles and it looks to be 25 OTD. Would love to hear your opinions on this. Didn’t take it home today due to blind spot warning going off when no vehicles were near it.

i just got my 2022 veloster N back from the shop (suspension damage) and my bov felt like it was sticking and staying open when i drove and reved it, it was also holding no boost it would keep like 5 psi while doing a pull then it would all leave, now this morning it feels like my bov is like stuck wide open permanently and my turbo is making a ticking sound? does anyone have any insight on what the problem might be?

Doing my transmission oil today and I'd like to know if there's a specific torque spec that I need to torque my drain & fill bolt to when I get to it.

Any other information about the fluid change would be great as well if you guys have any extra info that would be useful.

Fuel pump finally went out at 83,000 miles, honestly lucky to have made it this long. The TSB ECU flash is horrendous because apparently all it does is stop your car from going fully into limp mode, but now it doesn’t throw a CEL so you can probably fry your engine if you keep driving it.

Anyway, the wait time at my local dealerships for a warranty appointment is 3 months and I’m not even going to try and deal with that whole process, so wondering has anyone done the HPFP themselves and how difficult/long did it take? And any recommendations on the Sonata one vs other aftermarket options?
