Homemade / home assembled Homemade cherry scones and strawberry jam
I actually prefer scones with raisins but my boyfriend loves cherry ones so I thought I'd treat him. I'm not allowed to make these for a while since we ate them all in one day. The recipe was on BBC food and super easy

Homemade / home assembled Falafel, hummus, tahini sauce
I followed the Serious Eats falafel recipe (https://www.seriouseats.com/the-food-lab-vegan-experience-best-homemade-falafel-recipe) though, as noted in the comments, didn’t use anywhere near that amount of salt.
Served with some shop bought hummus and homemade tahini sauce (tahini, lemon juice, garlic, water).

I was at a cafe having breakfast a older lady ordered a bowl of cornflakes, when they came she put salt on them,it seemed through listening to the conversation on her table that's how she always takes them with milk and salt, anyone else heard of this?

Homemade / home assembled Spaghetti with prawns, tomato, onion, garlic and tomato.
Raided the fridge and cupboards as didn’t want to go to the supermarket. Got some prawns from the local store and reduced basil. Put this together.
Red onion and garlic softened then cherry tomatoes until soft, little tomato paste to cook through then the prawns (they were already cooked), parsley, basil, and tossed spaghetti through.

Homemade / home assembled Overnight Cooked Pork Shoulder, Finished on the BBQ, with n’Duja Lentils, and BBQ Long Peppers
I’m back from holiday, the sun is still shining and we still get to eat outside.
This recipe is using pork shoulder that we bought on offer and have made four portions for about £7.
We sous vide it at 60c overnight and then portioned and froze the cooked “steaks” once cool.
This was finished on the BBQ with oil and sherry vinegar.
The peppers were similarly roasted hard and dressed in a herb oil with toasted almonds.
The lentils are made with a basic sofritto with some nduja that needed using up.
The fun thing about this is it eats like a pork chop, but is lots more fatty and flavoursome and tender.
