Homemade / home assembled Cheese & Ham Toastie
I never seem to see any proper British toasties on this sub. In a world of paninis and sourdough, is the UK now too gentrified for the humble mouth scorching closed edge toastie?
Ham, vintage smoked red Leicester, mustard mayo, salted butter. Served with a side of sea salted crisps and a yorkshire tea.

Question Looking for Dualit toastie inspiration — fillings, techniques, and the butter debate
Why is it recommended to butter the outside of the bread rather than the inside when making a toastie sandwich?
Also, aside from the classic cheese filling, does anyone have any favourite toastie combinations or creative fillings they’d recommend?

Homemade / home assembled Quick tea: nduja marscapone lemon rigatoni
They had packs of nduja in Lidl so grabbed one and made this at the first available opportunity. Very rich and spicy but such a comfort food meal, will add some spinach next time.
