I made a tactical roguelite demo where you can recruit anyone, even the bosses!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone!
I’ve been working on a turn-based tactical roguelite set in a high school where fighting to control the building completely replaced studying.
Here is the twist: you can recruit every single enemy to your team during combat to grow your team, including the bosses.
The demo is free and running in the web browser, no download is required:
https://stillpulsing.itch.io/team-building
My goal is to eventually bring an expanded, full version to Steam. So any feedback, balance suggestions, or thoughts will help make the game better.
Thanks in advance, tactics lovers!

I’m making a modern turn-based hex wargame where hills shape lines of sight across 10+ hexes
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi — I’m the solo developer of Fire and Movement.
A lot of hex games represent terrain mainly through tile types and modifiers. I wanted the shape of the terrain itself to matter: hills can open or block long lines of sight, and units may engage each other from more than 10 hexes away.
The maps are procedurally generated, so you have to read the ground and find useful firing positions each time, rather than learn a fixed map.
Fire and Movement launches on Steam on August 14 for Windows, with English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese support.
Wishlist it on Steam: Fire and Movement
Happy to answer any questions about how the terrain system works.

Sometimes the Training Grounds turns into a giant elemental explosion simulator
We added the Training Grounds to the demo so players could experiment with different builds and relic combinations without having to restart a run over and over again.
I thought it would mostly be used for testing.
Turns out the players are much better at it than I am😂
Some of the chain reactions they've come up with are absolutely insane, and I love seeing how creatively everyone uses the system.
If you had unlimited setup, what ridiculous combo would you try first?
