I completed a new paint job this past weekend. I know it won’t be for everyone, but I like it. It’s a purple/pink/blue color shift base (Mardi Gras from DYC, permanent paint), with 2K clear on top. I went over it with acrylic markers, similar to the cartoon paint jobs for some added contrast. Turned out decent, but there are some areas I could’ve done more/less.

Also did a helmet paint job for another customer in DYC’s ZGT color shift permanent paint (purple/blue/green). Turned out awesome.

Other Triumph Scrambler paint quality

Hey fellow triumph owners. I bought this bike less than 1 month ago and noticed a small bubble. I rubbed my thumb against it and it chipped the paint. I noticed another mark on the other side I am afraid to touch now. Have been using the same cleaning products I used on my 2017 street scrambler that never gave me any issues. This paint feels different to me almost like plastic.. anyone else running into any problems with paint quality? Does triumph help with this? Thanks!

All that’s left is to install a European switchcube to control the DRLs, upgrade the headlight assembly with a custom headlight from Dapper Lighting mated to a headlight adapter ring, install a carbon fiber headlight bucket, install some Sato Racing Rearsets, install the new lithium battery and remove the secondary air injection to be rid of the deceleration afterfire.

Then the final decision will be how to integrate some Aegean Blue on the rear cowl and front fender so they feel more cohesive to the Ton Up vibe.

Mods and Customization Triumph Rocket III Roadster sissy bar rack used for top box

Post image

I have the Triumph sissy bar and luggage rack for my 16 rocket. I am wanting to get a top box/trunk and I’m wondering if anyone has ever used this triumph rack as the support? I’m having some trouble finding an official mounting rack since the bike is 10 years old now. Taking any suggestions for replacement racks that are actually for this purpose if someone knows of one that is still available. Thanks!

Took advantage of the quiet roads early this morning and rode down to Lichfield Cathedral.

The lighting was spot on, and with no one else around, it felt like a good excuse to pull up onto the cobbles and grab a few photos of the bike against the West Front.

That 800 triple engine is an absolute gem, and I'm still loving how the gold wheels look against the Carnival Red paintwork.

Mods and Customization Has anyone mounted the new akrapovic exhaust on their 765 rs?

Providing a link for the exhaust I'm looking into. There doesn't seem to be any pictures anywhere of it mounted on the bike, really curious how it'll look on the bike.

Other Triumph Speed Twin 900 (2024)

Hello I got into an accident early this year (May) in Singapore. I’ve sent an order list of parts that I require to fix my bike my local dealer has informed my front forks as listed in part numbers and ETAs

T2042366 - 6th november 2026
T2042367 - 28th August 2026

Will arrive in two different dates, realistically how long more do I have to wait for my parts to arrive? As the local dealers has been saying the factory side are delaying the parts due to backorder etc.

Mods and Customization Question about arrow exhaust for tiger 900 RP

I think if settled on ordering the arrow slip on. I see there are a few variants. I’m going with the db killer removed. My question lies with the “pannier compatible” vs not. In the images it looks like the primary difference is a bit of heat shielding which I would prefer for my soft bags but if I were to get hard bags in the future does any one with expirence on these know if the shielding is removable or if it is riveted in place? I don’t want to have to replace the slip on later if it turns out the shield is not able to be removed. Thanks all. Link for reference of part I’m referring too. https://www.motostorm.it/en/accessories/exhaust/arrow-veloce-dark-racing-slip-on-tiger-900.html

Other Considering swapping my Speed Twin 1200 for a Tiger 900 GT Pro. Looking for input

I currently ride a 2019 Speed Twin 1200, and I LOVE it. However, I am inching toward 50, my wife loves to ride, and I'm looking for something that I can take on solo trips/weekend trips with the wife. I have looked into bags/top boxes for the Speed Twin, but I'm in the U.S., and most of the rear seat accessories don't fit, as the U.S. tail light spacing is for some reason smaller than the U.K. versions.

I bought the bike used 2 years ago, with 24K mi on it, it has I think 29K on it, runs great. I did upgrade the seat with a Corbin Gunfighter, so my wife could have a backrest, and a J.W. Speaker adaptive LED headlight.

I found a used Tiger 900 GT Pro with all the bells and whistles online for $9k. I bought my bike for $7k. Do you think $8K is a reasonable asking price for my current bike, with the $2000k upgrades I put on it (also has aftermarket pipes), or am I delusional. I feel like $9k for a 2024 Tiger with 12K mi is pretty solid.

Also, as far as performance, my first Triumph was a 1998 Thunderbird Sport 900, and I never felt underpowered even while riding two-up. How much of a difference will I notice with the Tiger 900 vs the ST 1200? I don't care about being the fastest. I want to be able to cruise comfortably all day at 70-80mph, and be able to overtake on the highway easily. I'm just looking for something comfy for weekend jaunts, occasional overnight/weekend trips. The heated grips and seats are a big plus, too.

Thoughts? I'm really just debating in my head. I would love to just have BOTH, mut my wallet/garage space won't allow that. lol.

Maintenance Issues Speed triple 1200RS 2021 reliability? Good buy?

Afternoon all.

My mates debating buying a 1200rs from triumph direct. It's 1 owner just under 1k miles.

He's having a wobble because online it says about numerous reliability issues such as.

The quick shifter.

Overheating

The dash just turning off

And the rear disc bolts.

I think he should go for it but it ain't my money. What do you guys think has anyone else had one of these and did you experience a world of pain or joy?

Much love

D

Maintenance Issues Juddering while Engine breaking 23' StreetTriple

Hello all,

When I am coming down the revs with 0% throttle my engine breaking is really horrible and juddering. I have a SC Project full system but no map. Is this something a custom tune can complete smooth out? Got so bad I don't enjoy riding it right now.
