For every character in the game, even the ones I don't care to actually use, I can at least see vision and viability behind certain characters, even the ones that aren't for me. The only exception to this is Giovanna. I get what they are going for, but every time I try to use her, the terrain doesn't match the particular role I need her for. So, what's the trick? Is she only viable on certain maps? Do I need to build my army around her? Is there some sort of trick I need to understand for her? Or am I just correct in my assessment that she's a bad unit?

I wonder if its a few things:

1) Game plays more like a puzzle rather than combat based tactics

2) Attacks are not as satisfactory in terms of visuoauditory feedback

3) Less power fantasy as there are no real solo OHKO characters, team set up is required

4) No big power spikes with upgrades
