Drove an hour out of my way to grab this absolutely stunning color. The photo really doesn’t do it justice. The stock tires had beautiful tan sidewalls but I wanted a tubeless setup so they had to go (sad).

I was actually going to try to get a new Top fuel or specialized Chisel FS with my NICA discount but apparently both have been discontinued.

So I started browsing marketplace and found a damn near new gen 3 top fuel. I had to make a decent drive to get it but I think it will serve me well.

Local bike shop is offering to sell me a brand new AL4 for $1,550.00. Should I jump all over it?

5’9” 35 y/o, strictly road riding. I’ve been getting back into cycling the last couple months. My main hobby is lifting weights, so cycling is a side thing to build my heart, cardiovascular health, and work capacity. I’ve only been doing short rides ~3 days/wk. I figure this points to the friendlier geometry of the Domane, but at the same time cycling is very intriguing to me. I see videos of people cruising on flat at 25mph and I could definitely see myself getting more serious with it. Sure they say the Emonda is more aggressive but if I’m only doing 20-60min rides maybe it’ll be an unnoticeable difference. I care about the health of my body and don’t want something thats too hard on my neck/back.

I just punched the Trek Madone Gen 6/2018 and I'm looking for a longer seat post around 350-400mm. Trek doesn't sell them above 205mm but is there a way to have it made for the bike? I'm 6'6" and currently riding the 205mm. Which is way too short.

This is obviously a new model however it’s been very quiet?

I just happened to come across this video. It looks nice, however 87lbs is crazy. I consider my Trek FX+1 heavy & it’s only 48lbs.

Not really pertaining to trek itself but I do have a trek bike and wanted to go for a long ride. How do I properly fuel myself? The last time I went, I made it to 52 miles and my body completely broke down. Ran out of water and snacks. I brought 3 packs of nerds and 1 pack of a different type of candy. No real food, I’m afraid if I eat food I’m going to have to use the restroom. Anythng you guys recommend? Bananas? Etc. Thank you

Spotted a few Treks yesterday while walking around Volendam, Netherlands.

Bike culture is huge over here, so I was hoping to see even more of the brand represented.

They said a new Domane model is coming soon. Does anyone know anything about it?

I’m looking at a Trek Roscoe 9 on FBMP. The seller said he’s only rode it 5 times and it does look like it’s in great condition. My question is he wants $1800 is that market value or way above?

Hi guys are these harder or more expensive to service? Peoples experience?

For the past 2.5 months, I've experienced three different flats the size of a pinhole, barely noticeable and causing very slow leaks. I've been using the stock tires since I got the Verve 2 Gen 5 last September. The issue is that all three of these flats have happened in the front tire, and that these were all within a very short time frame. I had no problems before, even riding with pressures low enough to easily cause a pinch flat. I've stopped letting my tires go below ideal PSI's now that I am a bit more experienced, but it seems that I'm to fear a flat almost every morning after yesterday's ride just because of how common this is for me now.

I've checked the tire to see if there are any thorns or things that may have been sticking into it, nothing. I checked the rim and the indentation that the inner tube lays against, nothing. It could be that I am just really unlucky right now, but I know that my last flat had nothing to do with what I rolled over. No crazy bumps, no riding over sticks and branches, seemingly nothing.

If I am just unlucky, I am looking for more puncture resistant tires that would hopefully stop the flats. I've seen that the stock Bontrager tires are not great for durability as mentioned by numerous reviews, even for the Hard-Case Ultimate/Lite. However, I'm having a hard time finding tires that are:

1. Similar in weight to the stock wheels (<800g)
2. Not overly grippy, because I ride mainly on asphalt/concrete and don't want too much roll resistance
3. Has a compatible size for my Verve 2 Gen 5 (700x45c)

If anyone could help me out with this, it would be appreciated. If there is anything I should probably know that I don't about these tires, that would be great too. I live in the US.

i’m a bit interested in a Magene spider-style meter, even though my computer and sensors, smart watch are all Garmin, has anyone here installed one for a Shimano 105 groupset and how has it worked for you?

I've had BMXs when I was younger and they were fun. As an adult, Occasionally I would borrow a friend's mtb and take it for a quick spin. Fast forward to the present.. One month ago I bought an old stock but brand new 2022-2023 FX2 disc for $365 and the rest is history. Ridden plenty of KMs on it! Cycling is awesome and I feel so much better one month into it compared to last month. Looking forward to more KMs on this little machine. But maybe looking for an upgrade in the future lol.
