Ok, just to be clear the reason your cargo isn't getting loaded or passengers aren't boarding its most likely because your platform isn't attached to the road properly. You have to make sure that the little pathways are connected to the road. So before making a post about please check all of the following.
The little pathways are attached to the road. best way to check is to simply click on the station and see if the target industry is highlighted white.
Make sure you have routes to the target city. Cargo wont start flowing until it has customers to ship to. You can check this by clicking the industry and checking its potential customers. If its 0 there is something wrong in your chain somewhere.
Make sure you are using cargo stations and not passenger stations. You can check this by looking for the cardboard box icon vs the people icon over the station. Everyone will do this at some point.
Check that you have the right kind of vehicle to carry the cargo you're trying to ship. Some trucks only carry certain cargo. Or sometimes you're a veteran player with 750 hours between both games and it still takes you 15 minutes to realize you put a carriage on a truck line. --Moose919 --
If the above is checked then you can make a post about it but I request one of two things.
Either,
make a screenshot of your routes (preferably several screenshots zoomed in closer so we can get a better idea of exactly how everything is attached....or
upload a save game for us to tear into. Uploading the save can be done directly from Main Menu > Load Game: "Share" to workshop. This makes troubleshooting for experienced players suuuuper easy, because they get all the information they need without anyone having to write an essay. -- Imsvale -
Thanks in advance for your cooperation. You may now continue to enjoy transport fever 2!
You can see it is within range of an active fuel refinery. You can see the destination cargo station is connected to a truck stop that delivers cargo to a city that needs fuel. Why is all fuel going to the local truck stop instead of a combination of the truck stop and the cargo station? My trains are empty...

The network reaches a crucial stage this week as I start to finish off the northern connections. More freight lines are added, and a brand new branch line connects a previously isolated town. This new branch is fully electrified, bringing more passenger transportation under the wires!
The slow buses are starting to hold up growth in my towns, so let's rip them out and replace them with trams. This is yet another step into the electric era, speeding up the transport and pushing the network further into the future!
Hello, It's been a while since I played this game and I'm really loving stepping back into it.
I have started an EPEC run. No mods at all. I know, big undertaking, but I have the time for it so I thought, this would be a fun challenge.
I am really looking for any sort of advice from more experienced players, to avoid digging my save into a hole I can't get out of in the future, whether at my current state or just advice for the future.
My new freight lines are looking a bit empty, so I want to get them filled up with cargo trains. Let's get a massive logistics network up and running, ready to bring in some serious cash!
Could someone please explain to me why the logs aren't loading onto the station? I got the right station, which is connected and the right carts for my train. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong here.
The Eastern main line gets its long-awaited extension today from Abingdon all the way south to the superhub at Stroud. Passengers and freight will soon be running down both sides of the map, bringing in the cash ready for the next major expansion!
Going through the tutorials helped a lot with some minor issues I felt were intuitive, but despite all the similar issues I've seen on here, nothing quite matches what I'm seeing here myself. It is very likely I'm just missing something, but I'm not sure what.
I have a train meant to carry Machines and Food to a city. This city has a high demand for these two items, and yet the train does not seem to fully load and unload its cargo on either end of its route. I bumped up the minimum loading time, made sure there are no conflicts in the line, I deleted the train and re-added it. Rebuilt the stations. Pretty much everything you can think of and still nothing seems to fix the issue.
The new cargo hub is ready to go, except there's nowhere for the tracks to run to. Let's connect the hub to the rest of the network and open up some brand new revenue streams!
