Other Under the hood
So does everyone know the show everafter high? Basically the high school for the children of famous Fairytale characters
One of the characters is Cerees, Jood and Ramona badwolf. They are the daughters of Little Red Riding Hood and the big bad Wolf. So what if our big bad got with little red? Rather, before the games or after, and they had kids and sent them to the school, I know it's unlikely I haven't played the game so I don't know if little red is alive.Or the two of them hate each other? But like, I can't stop thinking about this

Other Can someone explain the homelands to me?
From my understanding it’s a place where fairytales are natively from and they were forced out of their native territory by some colonizing force. However, why are there human looking fables? Why can’t they travel back and forth? How did they get into human world in the first place?

Comic It’s been a minute since I read the Fables comics but to my memory the witching well doesn’t actually kill you it just sends you to a desert in the middle of the homelands

TWAU 1 If Bigby and Snow had terrible chemistry
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Haven’t seen anyone explore this method of gameplay: making it so Bigby and Snow have a horrible work relationship.
Absolutely zero chemistry, disagreeing on everything, Bigby treating Snow as an untrustworthy suspect, and remaining largely unresponsive when she talks to us unless it’s to disagree with her.
The endlessly awkward silences, paralyzing secondhand embarrassment, and constant passive aggression is not to be underestimated.
Major choices:
Ignoring the blood on the ground of a literal crime scene and only looking at the piece of fabric just to compare it to Snow’s clothing.
Immediately leave the area without saying anything. When Snow asks where you’re going, reply that you’ve seen enough.
Disagree with her in telling Crain about the murder [when she has nothing to go off of] and remain silent the entire time Crain is yelling at Snow in the office so she takes the blame.
Choose silence again when Crain asks what our leads are so that way Snow puts forth her theory of it being Bluebeard and gets it shot down by Crain when he says Bluebeard is out of the country.
Only speaking up to say “fuck you” when Crain tells Bigby to do his job so that way Snow would tell Bigby to stop. After we reiterate our advice to not tell Crain and Snow agrees she should have listened to us
Light a cigarette silently and blow smoke in Snow’s face.
When Snow tells us to ask the Mirror for help, go to the lamp first, then only use the mirror to spy on Snow in the same room, then exit.
Looking at the book of fables, glance over any case relevant prompts and go to see Snow’s picture, comment on how repulsive her 7 associates are, then back out. Then look at the book to find the symbol of the ring and progress the plot.

TWAU 1 Don’t wait for Tim, but wait at the door
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Exploring the hidden option of not doing anything. Sometimes it goes exceptionally well, such as staying completely silent when you go to the Trip Trap to break the news to Holly that her sister is dead, and sometimes it pisses people off. This is one such example.
It’s interesting hearing the entire conversation with the Crooked Man, Georgie, Dee, and Jersey from behind the doors. We now know who TJ was talking about when he said he heard someone say “stop laughing at me”.
Wasn’t expecting Tim to actually make a snarky comment on Bigby not waiting up for him but then waiting at the door until the very end until he catches up and opens the door anyways.
Which is essentially bullying a disabled employee when they are the only person working, but acting civil and proper with them once we are around the CEO.
13 years of playing this game and still discovering new things during the annual summer playthrough.

TWAU 1 Saying “I think I know who murdered your sister” at the funeral, but NOT elaborating
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Our yearly summer playthrough brought some very unique avenues to manipulate and psychologically torture the unsuspecting citizens of Fabletown.
This one is interesting. Saying you know who murdered Lily, right in front of Holly in the middle of her sister’s funeral, but then choose silence when she and Gren demand to know who it is.
Instead of yelling at Bigby for leading them on but refusing to elaborate on breakthrough information he explicitly stated, they become furious at Snow, who understandably wants to gather all the facts first before telling people who the killer is.
Choosing to be a jerk, because you’re in a position of authority and are too feared by everyone to suffer any real consequences, never ceases to be amusing in this game. I love it with all my heart.

TWAU 1 Season 1 Remaster Werewolf Form
In season 1, Bigby’s “werewolf” form looked a lot like the classic wolf-man from the universal movies. He had more of a hairy man-face with some wolfy features.
In one of the trailers for season 2, they show a similar “werewolf” form but he’s got more of a modern, wolf-head.
My question is, do you think they’ll change his werewolf form in the Season 1 Remaster to better match his eventual Season 2 look, or do you think they’ll keep it basically the same?
Either way, I can’t wait for S2!

TWAU 1 Has this happend to anyone else?
Those teeth in the photo are Bigby's.
This happened to me years ago. I was just finishing Episode 5, and Bigby was about to take the elevator when, out of nowhere, my game glitched into this. To this day, I still have no clue what happened.
Nothing I pressed worked, and no characters loaded, except their teeth.

TWAU 1 Do you suppose TWAU Remastered will have new achievements?
Like interacting with certain people or objects? Example: Rub the Genie Lamp in the Business Office

TWAU 1 As someone who played the game and read the comics, game Snow and Bigby > Book Snow and Bigby
Not sure if this is a hot take, but here we go.
As someone that played the game and read the comics (though I have not finished the series yet), I thinl Bigby and Snow have stronger writing in the Telltale version.
Comic Bigby is a lot meaner, sometimes for no reason, and honestly pretty much annoyed me quite a lot sometimes. He is also, incredibly OP. Like, Gary Stu kinds of OP.
I enjoyed game Bigby a lot more, especially when roleplayed from the angle of genuinenly trying to be better and be more human, but still wrestling with his nature at times. Also, I actually REALLY liked that they toned his power scale down a notch, it made the story actually more interesting. Comic Bigby would have caught the culprit and killed the bad guys like, 3 episodes earlier without breaking much of a sweat.
Snow was kind of weird for me because in the first few episodes she is so much more meek and has a pretty gentle disposition, which is such a 180 from comic Snow who is very abrasive, no-nonsense and cynical. After she steps up as Deputy Mayor she became a bit more recognizable but still had some sweet moments - then it clicked, they went for a version of Snow that still has all her characteristics from the comics but is not as jaded about Fabletown and the government yet. Which I actually liked a lot.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

TWAU 1 A Wolf Among Us comic book exist apparently
I was checking out the Fables comics (the ones the game is based on) from my local library, and I found out they actually made a comic that follows the events of the first game. I had no idea this even existed.
It's much more than just screenshots of the game. The artwork mimics the game's style while still having its own distinct look, and it adds a lot of backstory and character moments that weren't included in the game.
Just wanted to share this in case anyone else didn't know about it!

Meme Snow looks different...
In case you're wondering why Snow didn't appear in the latest trailer, it's because she's in another game.
