Background:
I am 29, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and 282 lbs (down from 330 due to GLP1).
I am a T2 diabetic, but my A1C is 5.7.
I am/have dealt with anxiety, stress, and depression for pretty much all of my adult life. I don't have a strong support system and have had to get things done on my own since 18.
About a year ago, I pulled off my 2nd big move within a two-year span, and I immediately noticed a downward turn in my mood, energy, and overall
I'm currently on 300 mg of Wellbutrin, and I'm on 10 mg of Lexapro (just started about a month ago) along with my weekly GLP1. The depression and rotten mood are why I decided to get tested, just to explore all options. I am also back in the gym 5 days a week and have been for about 3 weeks now. Additionally, I did a sleep study last year and got diagnosed with very mild sleep apnea; however, I have been in myofunctional therapy since Dec to retrain my tongue, and my snoring has reduced significantly.
My libido is iffy, I think, and I couldn't tell you the last morning erection I had that wasn't urine-induced. Even though the test results say my levels are normal, they're still low IMO and very borderline. I also recognize the lifestyle factors, which is why I gave context. Should I circle back to my doctor for treatment options via meds, or should I not be too alarmed and stick to my weight loss and fitness? Anyone have a similar story?
