My favorite mug.
I’ve had this mug at the office through 4 different companies. Crazy to think I’ve had it for 20 years. Easily my favorite.

Did you know there are two books that have shaped the world’s understanding of tea?
📖 The Classic of Tea (Cha Jing) by Lu Yu
📖 The Book of Tea by Okakura Kakuzō
The Classic of Tea is the foundation of tea culture.
The Book of Tea is its ambassador to the world.
The Classic of Tea tells us what tea is.
The Book of Tea tells us why tea is worth loving.
One established the theoretical foundation of tea culture.
The other introduced the spirit of Eastern tea culture to the Western world.
One is an ancient classic written for scholars and tea practitioners.
The other is a modern masterpiece written for the general reader.
While The Book of Tea became a global success in promoting tea culture, The Classic of Tea remains a timeless treasure still waiting to be more widely discovered beyond China.
Today, The Book of Tea has had the broader international influence, with more translations, editions, and global readership.
