This was my dad's favourite mug. Unfortunately he died in 2022 and last week my mum accidentally smashed it. She is devastated.

I don't make mugs very often, but every now and then I like to challenge myself.

After creating a Day of the Dead possum figurine that completely stole my heart, I couldn't stop thinking about turning the idea into something functional, so I decided to make a mug.

What started as a fun experiment ended up becoming my favorite mug I've ever made. From the bone-shaped handle to the pearlescent finish and the glow-in-the-dark possum, every little detail made me fall in love with it even more.

It took a lot of time and patience, but seeing it finally finished made every hour worth it.
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed bringing it to life!

From a thrift store way in the middle of nowhere.

Traditionally a Flat White is 2 ounces espresso and 4 ounces of steamed milk….but a 5 oz mug is called a flat white mug. Shouldn’t the 6.5 ounce mug be used instead? I’m just getting into Latte Art and am buying some Loveramics Mugs and having a hard time choosing size. What size is mostly used for Flat Whites these days? What size are you using most for Art? Thanks
