I preformed a cord cutting ceremony to represent the ending of my marriage. We sold and closed on our house today. The three of Wands card fell out of the deck before I began the ceremony. I then asked the deck to reveal to me what it wanted the take away of the ceremony to be. That’s when I pulled the strength card, ace of cups and ten of pentacles.

I believe the three of wands set the stage for the ceremony; looking out and forward toward my future. The strength card felt like a huge pat on the back after a day of feeling overwhelmed and depleated as a single mom. Ace of cups represents how much love is in my life now it’s spilling over. And ten of pentacles represents a job well done. That the hard work and pain will pay off.

I asked whether or not I should reach out to my former friend, drew one central card and three others to help interpret it. the way I interpret this, I'm currently really caught in my emotions about this situation and am only really seeing my own point of view (four of cups). I'm looking to find balance in this situation and work things out (two of pentacles) but it seems like if I do try to find this balance by reaching out, it is only going to cause turmoil (tower). however, the ace of swords is about justice and overcoming adversity and so maybe the tower is something that I should push through in this situation. how would you interpret this?

Context: I asked if my tarot cards gave me the right answer when I asked them a question or do they try to trick me. Everytime I try to do a tarot reading on myself, the messages are hard for me to interpret.

INTERPRETATION:

7 of cups:

When I do tarot readings on myself, the answer is right infront of me ( red aura cup). However, with the clouds surrounding the cups, I always get confuse on the meanings of the cards or I put different interpretation to satisfy what I want to see in reality. ( what I'm trying to say is that something I prefer to interpret the cards in how I want my reality to be rather than what the cards are really saying despite it being right in front of my face). Especially since the red cup is the only one which is glowing and the rest is in confusion (cloudy).

8 of wands: with the mountains in the background, i should be more grounded with my interpretation but also since the 8 of wands deals with movement, as time goes by, I will gain more understanding over time.

Also with the river going straight and flowy in the background, I should not let my emotions confuse and consume me but be neutral in my readings

9 of wands:

To be honest I'm lost here.

I believe it saying that with the eight of wands behind and the man being stuck on this one particular wand. It means that I always reshuffle my cards to try to gain the answer I want to hear rather that I need to hear. Especially since behind the 8 of wands, there are mountains which symbolize I need to be grounded when I do my readings and not stucked on what I want to hear.

Also the 8 of wands behind the man behind straight and with the mountain, this means by being grounded in my readings, I will realise that the answer are straightforward. Compare to the wand that the man is holding, it is curvy (not straight unlike the rest), this means that I try to adjust the readings to my reality when everything is straightforward.

Bottom of deck: 10 of wands:

This one is also tricky to interpret.

The man hiding his face in the wands tells me that searching for a specific answer in the cards start to become a burden itself.

Color blue symbolism:

The messages should be interpret when intution, patience and emotional awareness rather than being too emotional. Especially since in the 8 of wands, the river flowing is calm and straight.

Answer to my question:

Yes they give me the right answer but I should focus on trusting my intuition, focused on being grounded and take the messages of what they are giving me rather than reshuffling to get the answers that I want to hear.

I also really like how the numbers in all four cards follow: 7,8,9,10 but also how three wands came out with the number following the previous one.

The cards I pulled were The World, 7 of Swords, Death (reversed), The Hierophant (reversed), Queen of Pentacles (reversed), The Sun (reversed), and finally The Lovers.

I pulled out these cards and was immediately like "bruh" because this sounds very familiar. My experience working abroad last year was probably the happiest time of my life, I met this guy who was literally perfect (at the time) but because our team was so small and close knit, the directors had a strict "no dating" policy to reduce drama and arguments. Immediately from the start, we liked each other and spent the entire time sneaking around and hiding from the other people in our group. After the trip ended, against our better judgment, we stayed in contact and continue getting closer long distance, leading to a kind of unconventional "situationship" type relationship. This was the type of relationship where I liked him more, and was pretty overbearing with my feelings which ended up chasing him away. As of right now, our relationship feels hopeless and cold.
