I haven't played this mod for a hot minute, has there been some changes? I heard there were many submods and other additions to the mod from the fanbsse but it gets so confusing. Which submod shall I use? Just use base TNO? use 2WRW? TNO required or what? It's so confusing I need someone to lay down the facts for me.

Also has there been any updates to the mod? Any additions or fixes? I hope italy was included.

So I read through the recent dev posts about the Himmler path and I’ve saw some stuff and it’s kind of left me confused

On one hand, a lot of the writing involves Bashing against Christianity as some element to be removed. About how it’s a weakness. A lot of talk about reviving like ancient German heritage, which of course would involve Paganism, and this would fit automatically and historically with the obsession with esotericism in the SS.

On the other hand, there is nothing directly stating any revival of paganism. And in fact, the ideology description for Himmler talks about a non-denominational singular God outside of organized religion. Which, of course, is mutually exclusive with a paganism. and you can read a lot of the anti-Christian sentiment as more anti-religious in favor of a materialistic non-spiritual worldview.

I’m fine with either one, and would love if we get to choose between the two, but which one is it?

1- Why didnt Azad Hind and the CPS push more into india to reunite it? Was india protected, was it that difficult to defeat? Its hard to believe that the CPS would have that hard of a time..

2- In otl, i've read that the Azad Hind didnt really have any ambition to unify india, centering themselves more around bangladeshi identity. Is that still a factor in tnotl?

It's a perfect opportunity to give lots of content to the South American continent, which would get lots of people on board with lots of bonus content. I don't see how it would make sense for it to be released separately. Especially since the dev team seems to get its shit together

In the current system a one term incumbent is automatically to call re-endorsed and the opposition party candidate is decided by one event. Obviously yippie will be more advanced than that but how much freedom does the player have? Can you for instance have a successful one term presidency and still choose to dump your candidate for another? Do they have to be from a different wing or can it be the same wing? Will these actions be decided by your actions as president or will it primarily be from the primary events themselves?

For instance if I wanted to do a run as Goldwater where I successfully complete my first term tree and then have Regan win the 1968 primary is that possible? Or on the other hand can I have Hubert Humphrey succeed as president but then replace him with Hart in 1968?

Can you also reendorse a president even if you messed up their first term?

It really just didn't fit in anymore with the direction of the game, and having Himmler able to become the Fuhrer is such a good and obvious creative decision. I had my doubts with the direction of the mod as many people did, but honestly with how the Iberia update went, and with the new diary. I honestly genuinely think that TNO is in good hands and the long promise of the new stuff being better than the old is going to come to fruition.
