Can anyone explain the best way to securely tie luggage to this luggage rack?
I only found one short YouTube video that was explicitly about tying luggage to a rack like this, and I tried following the advice about double-looping the straps, but the suitcase still has some slack in it.
I want to learn how to secure luggage to this rack properly, but I’m short on time and keep running into a bunch of unrelated roof rack videos instead. I’m moving soon, so I’m trying to figure this out quickly.
What is the correct way to strap luggage down so it stays tight and does not shift around?
I used two cam buckle straps attached together to run lengthwise, and another two attached together to run across the other direction.
Just to clarify, the suitcase in the picture is not the one I’ll actually be putting on the rack. The one I plan to use is a hard-shell, medium-size checked bag.
