Hey I'm trying to get a new set of gauges but completely forgot what size I actually wear. I'm attaching a photo below. The ones I wear are the metal ones and the red one is a 0g I just bought. Quarter for scale too lol. Hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks!!

So far, I only have 2 lobes on each ear. In the picture attached, the black dot is where I want to stretch to a max of 8g-6g. I wasn't actually sure if that spot was available to stretch, though, because I haven't seen it on many other people. The white dots are where I want 2 stacked lobes. Should I switch their placements?

I feel like I'm running out of room for piercing ideas 😭

i love the snug septum hoop look, the smallest my nose fits is a 5/16, but i have a 6 gauge 8mm hoop in there now and i can live with that lol. problem is i can’t find a 4 gauge hinged hoop smaller than 10mm!

any clue where i could get one like that, or one of those cool magnet closure ones (in canada)?

Hey guys. So I just wanted advice and/or other people’s personal experience on this. I had my ears at 19mm until march 2024 when I decided to have them sewn up by a professional body modder (@xbrondecourx on instagram, phenomenal work) anyways, my ears are very healthy looking & have very faint scar lines on each ear that you wouldn’t noticed in passing.
For my right ear, the scar line is diagonal but for my left ear the scar line is straight up and down (that ear had some damage so it needed to get sewn differently). I got both my ears repierced evenly two months ago, but my left ear is pierced near the scar line. Has anyone safely stretched their ears back after lobe reconstruction, near a scar line? I told the guy I wasnt planning to restretch back in early 2024,but I probably want to start again in 2027. (Biggest I would go is anywhere between 8g-0g most likely).

So next month I'm finally about to reach 00g, but its been the goal to go bigger. I am struggling to find kits that are 00g plus, goal size would be around 25mm or bigger but if a kit is smaller I'd still be interested.

Well I finally made it to my goal size (12mm/ 1/2" for all the freedom unit users) and thinking I might have to go larger at some point but currently I'm just stoked on making it to the goal size. I dead stretched with glass plugs and got some flesh tone silicone tunnels just because I could.

I took it out to clean when bushing my teeth, placed on the shelf under the mirror as always, I clean it after, and my wife decided that would be an awesome time to start cleaning the shelf. It fell in the sink before I could catch it. 💔I will admit I was absolutely heartbroken as it's my favourite one I own. She's just so pretty!.😭 But it will live on! I Contacted stonewolf, and Russell is going to use it in a Delrin piece! So I get to keep a bit of it. I won't be putting ANY of my more fragile ones anywhere but in my hands in future when I'm cleaning them! Considering guilt tripping the Mrs so I can order another one! 😅but I think I'll go for super skinny oval.. As I don't have that shape yet. And getting the same shape wouldn't be the same.. (If that makes sense?) My labret jewellery box will be moved to the bathroom I think, for safety purposes! Bloody sink! But Russel to the rescue! 💖 xx

interest h my septum to a 1.6mm last week (first septum stretch yippie and i did it all by myself)
All is well, a bit tender still with blowing my nose and touches but no pain during the stretcher after. Been using jojoba oil to massage the area about once a day and clean it with hot water, and occasionally some peroxide if i’ve been sweating a lot.

i was invited to swim but was unsure if a week was long enough after a septum stretch to safely swim in a chlorinated pool, especially with the leftover tenderness, i’m worried about infections. Should i skip the pool and get a tan instead??

sorry if this is a no brainer, I'm looking to start my stretching journey soon (dead stretching with glass plugs).

One thing I haven't read about in any guides so far - how do I sleep "during" a stretch? I read here somewhere not to sleep with the plugs in, but won't the lobes be back to the same size after an entire night, when the ear isn't used to the size yet?

i got my septum pierced on june 5th, and i want to stretch to a 14g, how long should i wait? this is my first time trying stretching anything so any advice would be lovely :) thank you all!

for context, i’m at 16mm. haven’t sized up in over half a year. not sure what happened, but yesterday when i took my tunnels out to shower there was a ton of crust and my lobe was very swollen and painful. i cleaned it up and gave it a jojoba oil massage, slept with no plugs. this morning its still about the same - crust, red, swollen. I didn’t see any blood i don’t think.

my issue is that i’m at a conference right now and don’t have anything to downsize to. i only have these stainless steel tunnels ( they screw on together ). with a bit of effort i was able to get it in this morning, but it’s def pretty angry.

i’m not sure what i did? wondering if there was somehow an abrasion and i didn’t notice. any advice for now? ):

Stretched up to 15 mm with kits, now I don't see stretching kits that come to a larger size. What am I supposed to do? Buy single plugs in 1 mm increment? I don't think it's common to find half sizes online as well.

I recieved a pile of used jewellery from a mate, and now I need to clean and sanitise it all. There is a mix of stone, metal and some acrylic, or similar plastics. The metal I know I can just boil for a bit to clean, but I'm unsure about the stone, plastics and all the Orings. I have some 99% isopropyl alcohol, but I am unsure if its OK to use on anything.

Looking for some advice.

I went swimming yesterday (pool, so chlorinated water) and after that my septum (10g) has been feeling a lot tighter and dryer than previously. It doen not hurt and the jewellery is still moving freely without any issues, but there's friction and resistance which hasn't been there before. No itching or discomfort, or any other signs of irritation, just that the piercing feels tighter and the jewellery doesn't slide as easily.

New 00g 40mm Tigers Eye Spike. I wish it was a bit longer but like how subtle it is too. Wearing through kaos eyelet.

After sitting at 7/8ths for almost 4 years I decided to stretch up to 24mm today. I’m going to try and reach the inch.

I’d probably be at 00g by now but I kept 0g for awhile because I bought the wrong half size and never got around to buying the correct ones and I liked how 0g looked lol

They were red and inflamed so I switched them out and they started oozing fluids and blood

I sized up to 1g and everything seemed fine, painless and no blood at the time of stretching. I continued with cleaning and oiling as usual.
A couple of weeks later I tried putting my plugs back in after the shower and felt resistance. I checked the back and surely enough, a small tear was there.

I’ve never had a tear up until now, I’ve always used glass plugs but this time I switched over to Titanium and the plugs were shorter, so the o ring was flush against my skin.
It’s been nearly a week since i’ve taken my plugs out fully, and my ears have been naked since then.
The small tear seems mostly healed and I haven’t put any plugs back in yet.

When I do, does my wait time to size up increase now since the tear? I usually wait 2-3months. Any advice, even anecdotal is appreciated!

Been sitting at a healthy inch for the past few years now (at least 3 years)

I desperately want to start sleeping without my jewelry and want to try experimenting with stacking my lobes.

Has anyone at this size/time had trouble with shrinkage? Just anxious to have to deal with my ears getting angry if they shrink a little
