You could tell from my gameplay that I was just shitting myself the whole time. The round just went to Scramble City.

Did you know that Cammy has a micro walk that allows you to do three Drive Rush Cancels and build enough meter for your Level 3? This video shows an example with the micro walk and one without it.

I have 171 hours in Street Fighter 6, and I just found this out now.

I'm relatively new to Street Fighter as a whole, and I like characters like Blanka and M. Bison, but I don't know how to do charge inputs without getting walloped every round while doing them. Any tips and tricks?

From previous post I made, took note of the feedback I got and been implementing them in my online matches more. Been doing anti-airs when my opponents are jumping, using fireballs and come at their faces using Drive Rush to close gaps, countering Drive Impacts with one of my own, been punishing whiffs by baiting (still working on confirming a punish into a combo but hey, no one's perfect), and just being very patient overall and not over-committing when things aren't working on my favor. And if I lose, that's fine I either go again and do better or take a quick break and learn some stuff offline on how to improve my gameplan.

So willing to hear out people on my current rank (or above it) so I can get better and potentially climb higher in the ranks while also still having fun. This game is a joy to play and I love to play more of it.

We have just included all combo trials for every single SF6 character, along the many other interactive features of our command list.

Would love some feedback on how we can make it even better!

I’m quite nervous posting this, but I created a Discord server primarily towards lower ranked players (Platinum and below) to try to find friends around my skill level (I hover around Gold-low Plat for context) and make learning this game a bit less lonely.

I struggled to find success with other discord servers and battle hubs. I've tried sticking it out for a while, hoping that fighting higher ranked players would help me improve as is the common advice given, but unfortunately, the skill disparity between me and everyone else was too steep and I struggled to learn anything other than that I’m better off sticking to ranked.
 
When playing ranked, I’ve tried sending people friend requests and inviting them to custom rooms, but they never join. There’s no way for my opponent to know whether or not I’m trying to be toxic and given the competitive nature of fighting games, it’s safer for my opponent to assume that I am trying to be toxic, so it’s natural that people are hesitant. 

I've tried going to a couple locals, however I haven’t found much success there either: the skill disparity was once more overwhelming. Also, everyone already knew each other so it was difficult for me to socialize and try to navigate already established groups. Thus, I was pretty much invisible even when I built the courage to talk to people and ask for games/advice, etc. People unfortunately would rather play sets with their friends than play with a stranger that’s bad at the game. 

In short, I’m a beginner-level player (gold-low plat) that’s struggling to find community, so I figured I’d try creating my own in hopes of finding at least one other person in my position.

Long ago I did a sprite project with character assets from the Sf3 series, and I was in slight Shock when I found out about an entire category of new character colors that I’ve never seen. these colors can be “accessed“ by pressing any button with start. But something that bothers me is that whenever I would try to use these colors in game it would never work. So are these colors only in the game files or is there a very specific time input? I really want to use this specific alt for Q.

I've heard that for certain moves that can be plus or minus on block depending on position (like tiger knee), I can determine if it's plus by looking for a screen shake. Does the screen shake always happen for all plus moves or is it just for certain moves.

Recently I was getting back into SF6 and noticed that a few people had some banners in their profile for the new Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games Anime, which my GF and I are watching. Now we want those but we can't find anywhere that says how to get them and they aren't in the shop or the rewards. Does anyone know how to unlock those?

I am a casual player who is interested in coming back to street fighter. I mainly played 4 and 5. Been told that I play rushdown characters though don't know what that fully means.

In 4 I played juri, cammy, and ibuki. Does that seem accurate to "rushdown"?

If so, who fits that style specifically in 6? I see Yasmine coming out in 2 weeks and she has my interest design wise.

Since the game is later in its life cycle, is there still an open environment for non legacy players or will I be getting K.O. ed for months with zero ability to fight similar skill level?

I have been playing fighting games with pad since i first found my passion for the genre about 2 years ago, i have been a pc player for over 7-8 years now. I tried playing sf6 on keyboard to try out and see if i would like a leverless controller and i think i would, but i have no knowledge of what is a good leverless controller. So i asked around and ive been told to go for a haute42 or kitsune, and now i ask you fellas for recommandations as well. Thank you!

I struggle to clearly see the screen shake on moves that have screen shake on block. What's the easiest way to see this? What do you look for that's clearly not just screen/character movement due to blocking the move?

The specific example I'd like guidance on is if there's a screen shake difference between Sagat hitting you with a Medium Tiger Knee at max distance versus a Heavy Tiger Knee at the same distance where the Heavy Tiger Knee is -5. I can't see a clear shake difference to differentiate between the two.

Hello i train on Ultra Street Fighter 2 against CP at maximum difficulty but this is insane it ́s like if Ryu do every time dragon when i jump on him and hadoken are so hard on this game because you lose your life on guard . Have you some advice ? Thanks

I was getting matches every 20 seconds before. Now it's taking around 2-3 minutes. Anyone else having this issue?

I’m new to street fighter and this is my first traditional fighting game I was just wondering how long it should take me to learn the intermediate trials with characters I can get the beginner ones down relatively easily but the intermediate ones seem to be impossible for me right now

I noticed once that my game would run slow during practice mode (and no it isn't the 50% option in the settings OR vsync). Even with shader recompiles it still happens. I have a decent midrange PC, not running at max graphics or resolution, even on lowest settings this happens. I have reinstalled the game to see if that works and it does for a day or two but it starts back again.

Is there anybody else experiencing this? I can't continue playing the game in this state as I basically can't lab anything any more. The only thing I can think is that I'm running the game on a HDD but I don't see how that would affect specifically the practice mode and nothing else.

I want to switch to another character and i wanted to try a new archetype, as i am new to fighting games.
Im on the search of my favourite playstyle.
I know very little, but the types i know are just shotos( ryu, ken, sagat…)and grapplers(gier, manon, lily). I dont know if it is an archetype, but i would define kimberly, juri and cammy as rushdown characters maybe. And last but not least zoners as jo and dhalsim. Are there any other classifications?

Generally speaking for all 3 shotos, since I interchangeably play them. I seem to mistime the input often, and it rarely ever comes out.

For Akuma specifically, I’m also struggling to do air fireball from OD demon flip, as well as air tatsu but that’s a similar problem to the first.

When I set Start position to be on the RIGHT and p1 side to LEFT, why does it occasionally after resetting the battle it pushes my character (P1 Side) to the RIGHT and then the start position to the LEFT?
