Dualsense user here (Modern). Sometimes I do this move accidentally and I don't know what the inputs are. I'm looking all over the command list but none of them show how to do this. I assume it's the kikoken, but I'm not sure.

My girlfriend and I started playing SF6 last week. We are having fun so far and we actually plan on buying a controller for sf6. Any good recommendation which leverless controller to buy? Any tips on how to get gud at rank? T_T

Im now at Master with Terry! Was incredible difficult NO cap! Even the time I forced myself to run the set with someone who mopped the floor with me and I ended up winning afterwards... I cant tell you how many times I tilted and wanted to give up on this. It was certainly a journey. I am never doing that shit again😭😭🤙 dead ass Im just playing to have fun. No goals in mind from here on out.

I did it on a ps5 controller. Which i hate using. Made me miss input my dp SO MANY times. Costing so much matches. I kept droping combos cause the input would not register at times.. again costing games i could have won. None the less, I am pretty glad I was able to make it to the masters rank, essentially passing the notorious "tutorial phase" of the game. Ive always been a huge street fighter fan. But was never any decent in game.

If this is considered salty then I apologize but I think I'm just tired. I play akuma which I know is a crayon eating character but I think he's cool. I've come back to this game after a little bit and I have been climbing. Its been slow but I am climbing. I dont know if today was just bad for me but Ive been dipping in and out of diamond. My biggest goal is to get akuma into master and I just feel exhausted. Ive looked up countless guides on how to improve my game and some of it has helped but it also feels like I cant get anything to work. I know for a fact I have habits that I need to erase from my gameplay however I feel like i genuinely do not belong here after some of this match ups and I am just tired. I am gonna keep pushing and try to keep improving but I cant help but just be tired

When I set Start position to be on the RIGHT and p1 side to LEFT, why does it occasionally after resetting the battle it pushes my character (P1 Side) to the RIGHT and then the start position to the LEFT?

Does anyone know when Street Fighter Alpha 4 is releasing? It's been a while since Alpha 3 was released.

I'm relatively new to Street Fighter as a whole, and I like characters like Blanka and M. Bison, but I don't know how to do charge inputs without getting walloped every round while doing them. Any tips and tricks?

Hi there! New modern player only about 15 hours in game. Ive mainly been playing ken and have reached iron 5.

Is there a character thats good for me to play Initially? I like ken but some of the rolling inputs are hard to execute and having his normal run plus the drive run throws me off a bit.

I was wondering if there are better modern characters to play to slowly learn the elements of the game. I have heard that Marissa and ed could be good. But I don't really want to play as Marissa but ill try ed. Mainly looking for a male character to play although I liked Cammy when I tried her.

Side note: are there any good modern youtubers who do character guides or help with basics so I can learn a bit. This is my first fighting game and so far its been a lot of fun!

There really ain't much else to the game. i'd rank it as my fav street fighter but jeez the cr.mk drive rush spam is actually riduclous.

I'm running casuals and its actually ridiculous how dependent people are. Played two sagats who just rely on his cr.mp into drive rush. Once i started hitting the OD reversal on that, they resort to some other drive rush bullshit.

Even though it's the best street fighter, Drive Rush is probably the worst mechanic of of any fighting game.

I want to switch to another character and i wanted to try a new archetype, as i am new to fighting games.
Im on the search of my favourite playstyle.
I know very little, but the types i know are just shotos( ryu, ken, sagat…)and grapplers(gier, manon, lily). I dont know if it is an archetype, but i would define kimberly, juri and cammy as rushdown characters maybe. And last but not least zoners as jo and dhalsim. Are there any other classifications?

So i got my leverless for a few weeks now and i can say ive largely adapted to it on most of the games i play regularly like BBCF, Strive, T8 and 2xko. For some reason however i just can't seem to get used to leverless on this game. Idk what it is ive been playing for 2 weeks now and its just not working. Im dropping combos like crazy, i seem to lose the ability to enter supers and specials and my timings all off even after practicising the same combo like dozens of times.

What is happening? I dont wanna go back to using my fightpad and relearn muscle memory for that. Every other game plays really good with leverless especially anime fighters which feel amazing. I just dont know what to do here and what im doing wrong.

Recently I was getting back into SF6 and noticed that a few people had some banners in their profile for the new Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games Anime, which my GF and I are watching. Now we want those but we can't find anywhere that says how to get them and they aren't in the shop or the rewards. Does anyone know how to unlock those?

this is something you see a lot in higher master, but theres people who will respond to cross ups with a perfect parry. when they start doing that shit i always just start jumping in empty

but regardless, i decided to try that for myself, and in training mode i think i landed it like twice in ten minutes of trying. the timing is so damn hard. how are people landing this nearly every time?

Generally speaking for all 3 shotos, since I interchangeably play them. I seem to mistime the input often, and it rarely ever comes out.

For Akuma specifically, I’m also struggling to do air fireball from OD demon flip, as well as air tatsu but that’s a similar problem to the first.

So apparently, SF6 is expected to continue on for 10 years. Do you wish they shortened this or are you looking forward to SF6 being their flagship game for a 10 year cycle. (i believe 2033 would be their next SF game)

I'm an unc pushing 50. Played sf2 and alpha 2 as a kid and loved them. Decided to get sf6 after rediscovering sf through the 30th anniversary collection. I placed iron and legitemately never thought I'd get past gold, but after months of work I was able to hit masters with my first character this week. I know this isn't a big deal for most people, but in a lot of ways I feel like this is my greatest personal gaming acheivennt of all time.

I also wasn't prepared for the depth of the journey. I never thought a video game genre could force you into a state of deep self reflection, especially with regard to confronting and getting a handle on your own emotions/ego.

I’d be lying if I said that I didn't have moments of incredible salt along the way, but gradually over time I was able to readjust my mind set and now it really isn't an issue anymore. Now that I've made masters and have nothing left to prove to myself, I'm just excited to learn more about the game and see where I can take it.

Anyway, for any older players out there who might be struggling and wondering if they'll ever be able to improve. Just keep going, you got this... and if you put in the work, chances are you*ll be able to improve more than you ever thought possible. Hello i train on Ultra Street Fighter 2 against CP at maximum difficulty but this is insane it ́s like if Ryu do every time dragon when i jump on him and hadoken are so hard on this game because you lose your life on guard . Have you some advice ? Thanks

I was getting matches every 20 seconds before. Now it's taking around 2-3 minutes. Anyone else having this issue?

I've heard that for certain moves that can be plus or minus on block depending on position (like tiger knee), I can determine if it's plus by looking for a screen shake. Does the screen shake always happen for all plus moves or is it just for certain moves.
