is there a way to lower the volume of the Steam Deck/Machine start up videos? That shit constantly blows up my speakers.

Hi, I’m trying to make Steam auto-launch with Windows, but I want it to do so silently.

Right now, every time I boot my PC, Steam starts and shows a small “Signing in…” window for a moment before minimizing to the tray.

I want Steam to auto-start normally, stay minimized, and not show any login popup or window during boot.

I’ve already tried putting -silent in the steam startup shortcut but the login popup still appears briefly.

Is there a way to force Steam to start directly minimized to the tray without showing anything?

I have been wanting the steam deck ever since it came out. I finally got to the point where I had enough money to think about actually getting it and then RAM prices went up and now the steam deck is too expensive to even consider now. I’m a bit disappointed because I been wanting this for years

It looks absolutely amazing and the fact that they added the option to sort games in your wishlist into custom-named categories? I love Steam.

You can't get cards from private games, but if you've collected all the cards and moved the game to private, it still says that you meet the conditions for a pack to drop.
So, is it possible after all, or not?

I want to start by saying that my account was compromised. I don't know how, but it happened. It was the typical "I reported your account in error" scheme, but the images showed the profile of another account, the profile of a Brazilian from Goiânia named Bruno. Well, it was accused of a fraudulent purchase, and it asked me to contact Matt Logue via Discord, and well, I was stupid enough to add him. I spoke with him, followed some steps that didn't put any part of my account at risk, but, as if he really had power over it, it was deleted. I want to make it clear that it was only deleted, contrary to what the report said, since my computer's IP wasn't blocked and I'm still able to create accounts, so it wasn't a ban. My main problem is the lack of way to contact Valve about this, since the support page requires an account, and specifically the account that caused the error. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

i am a big fan of personalization of almost all of my profiles and steam is not an exception. until now because after all these changes it feels so ungrateful. you see i don't mind the fact they took of the ability of buying these points through awards that's kinda fair tbh. but right now i can buy almost nothing! only animated backgrounds for 2000 points and animated stickers as far as i know. now you can't buy regular stickers and backgrounds AT ALL. and here's the peak of comedy - i like simple backgrounds that you can buy for 500 coins. the ones from Muse Dash are my fav - they are colorfull and everything. and previously you could bought it only if you had a game. i bought the game, then the background - a happy end. but i wanted to buy another one recently and surprise - i couldnt. because now i need to buy the game and spend 2 hours in it. WHY. what's the purpose of the whole page in point shop full of backgrounds you can't buy without a game itself?? and i know you can buy it for real money at the market. and those are usually cheap except the popular ones and it is just soooo frustrating like oh yeah i have thousands of points that i can't spend because i don't have this game so im gonna spend 0.02 dollars on market to get the freaking background. why. just why. do they really gain some profit from it??? this feels so pointless it makes me sick

One day before this controller was on sale I watched YT review video, guy mentioned about controller being too big, I was like, yes baby! This is for me as most controllers are a bit to small for my hands. I tried to buy it very first day it was on sale, we all know what happened. Luckily few days later I was able to book a spot. Almost 3 months later they send me a link to buy it. Yeah... fak ju scalpers really fak ju.

Basically I want to know if there is a program that will reshow achievements when you play a game even if you have the achievement. So that when I replay a game I can get the achievements again. I know the steam achievement manager exists, but I want to know if it's possible without re-locking the achievements

2K just straight up delisted the game without a beforehand notice or making a final sale. By the time I knew about this it was already gone. I tried searching about the keys and keystores just sell it for very unaffordable prices. Is there a way to get it on Steam reasonably or is it gone forever?

Trying to get Just Cause 4 (i use heroic as I own it on Epic) to work properly with my steam controller, but for some reason if I add it through the Heroic option to add to steam, when I launch it through steam it doesn't say I'm playing it (on steam) and will not use Steaminput. And if I add the JC4 exe to steam directly it asks me to install the epic games launcher. I need some form of steaminput or a way to disable to default desktop setup when a specific app is open

Anyone know any way to fix this?
