All I can see is that they gave the "remove" button a bright red highlight, which just makes it easier to see.

For starters, just because there’s color doesn’t make it AI. Secondly, there’s no reason to cry over changes that don’t affect anything. You can still use Steam the exact same way. You’ll live

In the library you can use emoji's for your collections....the collections that list games with colored icons next to the game's name? (Honestly I don't see emoji's on the pic you shared?)
Oh the Steam Deck Verified uses colored icons.
And the thumbs up / thumbs down for Steam Reviews are kind of colored icons.
And it doesn't look like it is 'ai generated' (curious why you think it is)
