Some questions will not be answered or replied to. As an example: "my game crashes" or "my download speed is slow" is not something you should even really expect an answer to. Troubleshooting and finding the solution to these issues requires a lot more information than simply stating "game doesn't launch", such as detailed information on when the issue started and how you perceive it, screenshots of any errors or the problem itself, crash logs, system specs, etc.

Consider using other things like the Steam Community Forums, an internet search engine, or a different support forum like /r/SteamSupport if no one here can offer any help. Additionally, every game on Steam has its own dedicated Community Forum, and you can also contact Steam Support regarding a specific product. Consider asking your game-specific questions there. Most games also have a dedicated subreddit.

Please help.

I’ve been trying to create a new Steam account but I keep getting this error:
“There was a problem creating your Steam account, please try again later.”

I have tried:
Waiting over 24 hours and trying again
Different email addresses
Different browsers
Incognito/private mode
Steam website and Steam app
Different internet connections (home Wi-Fi and mobile data)
Turning off VPN (I don’t use one)

I have also contacted Steam Support, but their replies haven’t really helped and they keep suggesting things I have already tried.

I already have existing Steam accounts, but I’m trying to create a new one and it just won’t go through.

Has anyone had this issue recently? Is there a hidden cooldown, IP/device restriction, or anything else I can try? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I was able to finally get an answer and make an account.

So the email domain I was trying to use is blocked for now according to steam (@outlook). Not a user error, but they are blocking accounts being made if it’s an outlook account due to spam abuse.

You must try another email such as Yahoo Mail or Gmail.

I've been trying for 2 days (today is the third) and gmail doesn't work either

steam support said I should turn off vpn (which I don't have and was the first thing I wrote in the ticket) and that my network was probaby involved with an attack on steam or is "involved in activity that's not supported by Steam" which isn't true..

even tried going to my sisters house and try on her computer with no luck

Thanks for your reply, but it doesnt work with yahoo or gmail either. I created an account for both, and neither works.
