Little announcement from the mods at r/Stance
my old 99 e46
Hi everyone,
I want to make a formal announcement regarding where this subreddit is at and some rules we are putting in place moving forward.
First, there has been a massive influx of bots across Reddit lately. To combat this and keep the spam out of our feed, we have officially implemented AutoMod rules for new and low-karma accounts. If you are a real person with a new account, bear with us while you build up some history.
Second, our subreddit is getting bigger. With the rise of engagement optimization on Reddit, our content is being pushed out and shown to a lot more people. That means there will be more people seeing these pictures who absolutely despise this niche of automotive culture.
Because of that, you need to understand something: this is not a place for soft people. If you ask people what they think of your car and you don't like the answer, it is not grounds for you to just claim harassment and spam the report button. This niche was always the bastard child of the car scene. You owning a car does not make you a part of a protected class. I do not stand for personal attacks against the actual person, but if you're posting your car to be judged, be prepared for your car to be judged. Not everyone here will brainlessly agree with your styling choices.
Finally, let's talk about AI. I do not want this group flooded with AI slop. This is a group of automotive enthusiasts doing real automotive things. I don't think any of us want to see an AI version of your car pretending to do automotive things. If you are starting a serious discussion and you are using an AI generation strictly for a visual representation of an idea, try it. We’ll see how it goes. But low-effort filler content will probably be removed
Edit: Some additional notes
If you post photos of a car, and pretend that it is yours / pretend that you've done the work on it, or anything along those lines, in my eyes it's an immediate ban. Car culture has no space for frauds and imposters.
Do not hate on r/Shitty_Car_Mods - it's one of my favorite subreddits. Just because they don't like your car does not make them wrong.
I might be changing the definition of "stance" in the near future as seen on the sidebar. I think my decision to use the term broadly is being weaponized to try and justify doing a poor job at stancing a car. I want for us to be an inclusive, friendly, and knowledgeable community. One that is willing to share and teach. But I also do not want to cultivate an environment of soft skinned delusional car owners who are not willing to learn what this life is really about.
Lack of moderation: I know this is true. Because of my belief in freedom of speech, I've generally allowed for us to self moderate as a community. But with how much slop we have, I do know that I need to add to the mod team. I already have somebody in mind for this; somebody who is an industry leader and have been in the game probably since the very beginning. So that may happen behind the scenes.

The old set up transferred to the new daily and it fits perfectly 👌🏼
The old tesla hit 100k miles in the 3 years of ownership and warranty was up, so I traded it in for the new model and all the parts from the old one fit like a glove. Here’s to the next 100k miles hopefully 🍻

Suggestions for front fender rolling
So I'm an idiot. I installed my coilovers before I rolled my fenders and now the struts are too short for the fender roller to fit in the front. I was able to roll the rears (barely) but the fronts just won't fit.
Anyone have any ideas on how to roll fenders when a fender roller doesn't fit? I guess my alternative is to raise it up to the max height the coilovers could go and hope it's high enough but fuck I'm tired of messing with them in this heat and humidity.
It doesn't rub horribly, but it's enough that it bothers me, not to mention I still want to go lower in the front if possible.

My Stanced W205
Months of changing little things and second-guessing myself, but I think it’s finally there. Air suspension, clean fitment, red interior, and a few more plans before I call it finished
