If there's someone around you you're friends/acquaintances with and you don't want to lose contact with them (e.g., you move away, switch jobs, etc.) is there a certain spell that will keep them coming back to you? Not in a romantic sense, just something that will strengthen/keep your bond strong. I was considering doing something involving binding but I don't know if it applies to this situation.

Been trying to find a guilt spell for the past hour over the net and can't find anything yet (only thing I fond was 369 method, will try that but want to know others as well)

I’m looking for insight from people who are experienced with spellwork because I’m genuinely at a loss.
Long story short, I met someone (“SP”) and experienced something I’ve never felt before. I work in an industry where I meet hundreds of new people every month, and I’ve never looked at someone and instantly felt such a deep sense of familiarity. It honestly felt like I’d known him my whole life.
The interesting part is that he felt it too. I never suggested it or tried to lead him in that direction. Completely unprompted, he would text me saying he couldn’t stop thinking about me, that he felt like he’d known me forever, and that our connection felt different from anything he’d experienced before.
We started getting to know each other, and the chemistry and emotions between us were incredibly intense. Then we had our deepest, most emotional conversation one evening… and the very next day, he disappeared. He never responded again.
I gave him space. About a week later, I reached out once in a very natural, low-pressure way, and he never replied. I haven’t contacted him since, and it’s now been about a month.
Since then, I’ve done a honey jar/sweetening spell, a communication spell, and a third-party removal spell in case there was something energetically interfering with the connection. I’ve intentionally left space after doing the work instead of constantly repeating spells, but nothing has changed.
At this point, I’m less focused on forcing an outcome and more focused on understanding what happened. The sudden shift from such an intense mutual connection to complete silence has been incredibly confusing.
For those of you with experience in spellwork:
Would you continue giving the existing work time?
Is there any reason to consider something like a blockbuster spell if you believe there may be energetic blockages?

The spell: You have to take a nice big potato and wash it, while washing it you must concentrate the two people you want to bring together. Then you carve the names and birth dates of the two people, then you carve a heart around the names and birth dates, then if there's room you can put words or phrases pertaining to the couple. Then you sprinkle basil on the potato and rub it in.
Lastly you bury the potato under the light of the full moon, for better results the moonlight should be on the spot which you bury it. You take care of the potato like any other growing plant. When th potato starts growing that signifies the love between the two people growing.

Hi, I have a board exam coming up very soon, and I don't have a lot of time to study ( I will study) I have been keeping up with the material and even when school is hard and I have long days I wake up in the morning and I go to school and then after it I study until the wee hours of the night.

However I am not remembering everything properly.. yes I am taking supplements to help me, I have a clean diet, all the normal earthly things you do before an exam, except for excerise even though I try to go on walks.... time restraints just don't let me go to the gym right now... however I will soon after the exam maybe every day.. LOL.

Anyways. I am wondering is there a spell that could help me with luck/focus during the exam or something similar? Has anyone tried it where it has worked?

What's a good but simple spell for getting someone to befriend me again, I wanna resolve things and make this work. I prefer if there's no candles involved /simple items or none.

I applied for a job a number of months ago and got it. But then I had to withdraw my application last minute due to financial commitments.

The guys said I would have got the job and to keep in touch. I noticed they hired someone, but they left. I sent the owner a message, but he has ignored me. I really want that job.

When I found out the person got the job I did try and think about the person leaving and I did that for 6 months and that come true. The person left, so i thought I would email the company and try my luck. But they have so far ignored me.

I tried writing my intent on a piece of paper in pen also why I want to work there, the name of the person I spoke with. I wrote the address and all the reasons I wanted the job.

I then lite the paper. I waited for it to cool and got the dust and through it in the wind. I also say these words each day

I also think about the email coming through each day morning and night.

But so far nothing is happening.

The job is perfect for me and there is not many of these jobs around my area. So thats why its so important to me. I keep thinking deep inside that if I wait long enough it will all be ok in the end and I will get a response.

But its been 2 weeks and its looking un likely. But some where deep inside of me is telling me not to give up hope

I don't have access to different sorts of material's and apparatus. I don't want to be using jars and all sorts of things left around the house. .

What else can i try? Words, writing intent and placing in a drawer, thought. Does this work as I'm really keeping an open mind when the out looks doesn't seem positive.

I know I should just give up and move on, but something is stoping me.

So my boyfriend is co-owning a business with his cousin, it's their grandfather's heritage to them. His cousin is a couple of years older so he's in the business way more years and my bf only the past 2 years has committed to it. His cousin is a bully though. I am thinking of combing a jar and candle spell to pull her back to me and resolve issues. Can rituals be combined and does this make sense? I’ve been practicing mediation recently with an ice cube melting on my head for when the candle melts. Do I mount the candle in or over the jar? It’s very long - like 12 inches.

1. The Petition Paper (The Base)
I will take a small, torn pieces of unlined paper. On one side, I’ll write her full name and birth date three times. Circle it in red ink—red representing a catalyst for desire and focus. On the reverse side, write my full name and birth date. Fold the paper three times toward yourself. Then place this at the very bottom of the jar.
2. The Layering (Sweetening and Drawing)
Sugar & Honey: Pour a generous layer of sugar directly over the paper, followed by the honey. This is to target her sharp, defensive withdrawal and sweetens her disposition toward our memories.
The Herbs & Spices: Add the jasmine, rose petals, and lavender. Jasmine boosts spiritual attraction, rose petals anchor the specific wavelength of my previous Aphrodite ritual, and lavender calms the severe anxiety she mentioned experiencing when communication gets heavy.
Cinnamon & Money: Add cinnamon to heat up the slow-moving timeline, and a piece of money (or a coin) to ground the physical reality of the environment that we both share—we’re in the same city.
3. The Activation & The Chant
Before lighting the candle, i must ground my intent. By stating the reality clearing with it. I will hold my hands over the open jar, recite my chant three times to charge the contents, and then seal the lid:
"([Her Name] & [My Name]) heart, sweetened and clear,
Returns fully aligned as autumn is near.
Only if healthy, only if true,
It is done, it is sealed, my peace is my shield."
4. The Candle Work
I will place the candle from the shop into the sealed jar lid. Light it and let the wax melt down over the edges of the lid by smearing bay leaf’s that are being burn. This is to physically and symbolically sealing the intent inside. Let it burn down completely while watching it to reach a state of gnosis.

I'm looking for ideas for a cord-cutting or bond-breaking ritual between someone I deeply love and their physically and psychologically abusive ex-partner.

For context, the relationship involved physical and emotional abuse, and although they're no longer together and continents apart, they seem emotionally confused. They don't know whether they still love this person or whether they're experiencing a trauma bond and haven't yet processed what happened. My intention is for the ritual to symbolically sever the unhealthy attachment and help them move toward clarity, healing, and freedom.

I'm a traditional witch and work within a Hellenic polytheist framework mainly.

One mythological idea I found interesting was using the story of Eros, Apollo, and Daphne symbolically, not to recreate the myth literally, but to represent an unhealthy pursuit coming to an end and the restoration of healthy boundaries after abuse. I'd love to hear whether anyone has incorporated Greek myths into healing or cord-cutting rituals in a meaningful way. In this case, to spiritually “shoot” a rejection arrow towards the person I care about so they feel disgust and repulsion for their ex abuser.

For the ritual itself, I was thinking of making the cord represent the relationship and surrounding it with things that symbolise how toxic and painful it became. I considered using unpleasant symbolic items (for example, broken glass, vomit, urine, bitter herbs, ash, thorns, or other representations of suffering and decay) to reflect the abusive nature of the bond before cutting and disposing of it.

Separately, I'm also wondering whether anyone has experience with rituals or devotional work intended to help someone become more open to healing. For example, workings that symbolically remove internal obstacles so a person is more likely to recognise they need support and voluntarily seek therapy or other forms of healing. I'm interested in ideas that focus on clarity, courage, and recovery. Like a little push.

Has anyone done a ritual specifically aimed at breaking a trauma bond or releasing someone from an abusive relationship? What correspondences, symbols, offerings, deities, or myths did you work with? I'd especially appreciate ideas from people with experience in Hellenic or traditional witchcraft.
