Dinner is served!

Fruit: pineapple, mango, and banana

Spinach

Greek yogurt

Chia seeds

Unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Coconut water

My smoothies are designed to be full meals, and they keep me satisfied. I currently replace two meals a day with a smoothie and have one balanced meal (usually lunch, but sometimes dinner).

At first, replacing meals was a bit challenging, but now I genuinely look forward to my smoothies. I’ve also noticed that when I do eat regular meals, I naturally eat less without trying, and I’m not snacking as much throughout the day.

Overall, this has been a really positive experience so far. It doesn’t feel like a short-term diet, but something I could realistically maintain long term. My body feels better, and I’m already starting to notice changes. Since it’s still early, I’m excited to see how my progress continues over time. 🍍 🥭🍌

That is my canned peaches smoothie bowl, though it was not that much thicker. However, I used to drink with a spoon.
The ingredients were:
Canned Peaches, 5g of Decaf Coffee, 150ml Oat Milk, 1/2 tbsp Almond Butter, 55g Plain yogurt(Curd), 2tbsp Organic Rolled Oats, 1tbsp Organic Chia Seeds.
That whole smoothie bowl was a replacement for my dinner.

Spent my whole Sunday prepping juice and cold brew and my kitchen looks like a warzone

Making big batches of juice and cold brew for the week is getting tedious ngl. I always end up using way more filtered water than expected between the cold brew concentrate, diluting a few juice blends, and filling everything for the week.

I got tired of refilling a pitcher over and over, so my aigerri countertop RO has basically earned a permanent spot on the counter. it does take up some space though. what setups actually work for you without taking over the whole kitchen?

Protein powder without artificial sweeteners?

Has anyone found a good protein powder without artificial sweeteners? The low or zero calorie sweeteners upset my stomach. Open to whey or plant based options. I like to make my smoothie with a container of vanilla Greek yogurt but looking to boost the protein a little more with a scoop of protein powder.

Does anyone else just supplement half their caloric intake with smoothies ?

I've been on a weight gain journey for a couple months and have made it to 112 pounds, I'm also autistic so I find it physically hard to eat some foods

I require about 1,800 calories a day, so I just make a smoothie worth about 700-800 calories and it really energizes me for the rest of the day and takes the burden off of having to cook. Anyone else do this?
I dunno if it's healthy but it makes things far easier for me

My ingredients are: 1 cup of milk, 1-2 cups of fruit, 2 tbsp almond butter, 1/2 cup blended oats, and sometimes 1-2 tbsp olive oil/honey if I have it

A few times people said that smoothies spike blood glucose, and I shouldn't have one daily. Just wanted your opinion on my typical breakfast?

My blender broke, so I tried making a smoothie with my canoly juicer

My old nutribullet hadn’t been working very well recently. It had started struggling with frozen fruit and would often leave a few chunks at the bottom, even after blending for longer.

I was originally going to buy a new blender, but I’d also been thinking about getting a juicer. Instead of buying two separate machines, I decided to try a canoly 3-in-1 and see if one appliance could handle both.

Today I made a smoothie with frozen apple, fresh banana, and Greek yogurt. It isn’t a dedicated blender, so I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but the texture was actually pretty smooth and creamy. No complaints so far.

Does anyone else regularly make both smoothies and juice? Do you use separate machines for each, or have you found one appliance that handles both well?

My g tube is pretty new, and I am strictly on formula feed; but it would be nice to switch things up and maybe blend a smoothie for my tummy. Give me some ideas please. ♡

Smoothie cup

Need recommendations

My 3yo & 14mo have smoothies everyday to get fruit + veggies. I use Zaks cups and overall enjoy them because they don’t leak BUT the straw is constantly falling out when my 14mo is using the cup & he gets really frustrated.

Any cup recommendations?

\*Easy cleaning preferred

Thank you

So i know smoothies are still liquid kals and won't help with fat loss/ burn. But is it healthy to drink like 2 smoothies a day to get my vitamins, fiber, iron and protein a healthy choice? I really want to better my health and any time i try and take vitamins whether its with food, after food or before food i always get a really upset stomach. I make my smoothies with soy milk, Greek yogurt, frozen berries, frozen avocado, spinach, grapefruit, mangos, etc... then I add chia seeds and a collagen peptide protein powder. Am I making the right healthy choice? I really just want my skin to feel a little better and maybe not feel so drained all the time

I can't be the only person who gets way too excited about trying new smoothie combinations. 😄

What's your current go-to recipe that you keep making over and over?

Mine usually starts with frozen berries, a banana, Greek yogurt and a splash of almond milk, but I'm always looking for new ideas. Bonus points if it's high in protein or sneaks in some veggies without tasting like a salad.

Also, what's one ingredient you tried on a whim that ended up becoming a permanent part of your smoothies?

Let's share some favorites- I could definitely use some inspiration for my next blend! 🥤🌱

Help me re-create my favorite green monster smoothie, please.

There is a local coffee shop near me that makes the best green monster smoothie. I've tried re-creating it but I'm missing the mark. I know some of the ingredients are 1/2 bananna, spinach, liquid yogurt, PB, sweetener which I believe is honey, apple juice and ice. Any suggestions on measurements or a smoothie similar to this? Thanks!
