As kid I was obsessed with the Sims 3 and I wanted to go back for a while, so started playing the Sims 3 again after 12 years. It feels so nostalgic but I am a little bit lost...
I feel like I never truly connected to the Sims 4 like how I did with the Sims 3. When I play the Sims 4 it's basically 80% of the time decorating. I love decorating houses but I miss the open world and the game play. Sims 4 feels a bit flat storywise? But graphic wise it's so nice. There is so much cc, I can decorate and build houses easily.
But getting back to the Sims 3 now has me confused. I am used to the Sims 4 and cc by now and I am like how does everything work😂 I didn't even know how to rotate the camera. Decorating the houses is hard. There isn't even that much furniture. The sims aren't the prettiest. I love the open world so much but it's also a bit overwhelming? And I don't like how much time it takes to get somewhere. I also struggle a bit to get used to the graphics and the way the sims look.
I remember how much fun I had as kid but didn't really experience that fun yet. But maybe that needs time. I haven't done much yet. It was basically me being confused, met some Sims and explore a bit of the town.
I started playing in Island Paradiso cause I was obsessed with it as kid but I feel like that might not be the best choice?
I also cheated in money, I am to inpatient to start with nothing and having a very simple house😂 but maybe that takes away the fun? Cause I am like okay what do I need to do now? I have enough money anyway😂
Anyone feeling the same way? Does anyone have any tips? What could help me feeling a little bit less lost? Which world is fun? How to find story ideas?
(Also I am playing on mac which is a terrible idea I know, it has annoying bugs like not being able to be in the water, eyelashes being a black line 😐 I am saving up for a PC but for now I have to go with what I have. )
