I am writing this out of pure, exhausted frustration after spending hours—and now literal days—attempting to get reliable help across multiple projects, only to be trapped in endless loops of trial-and-error.
The recent photo-editing failure I experienced is the perfect example. The AI confidently brags about a "30-second fix," only to repeatedly dump completely broken code, hallucinate software instructions, and warp my canvas until the entire workspace breaks. Because the system is "blind" to the live computer screen, it just continuously guesses, lies about its current capabilities, and overpromises solutions it cannot possibly deliver.
To make a terrible experience worse, the user interface in Google Chrome has completely removed the direct feedback/thumbs-down buttons, forcing users to completely go out of their way just to log an error or report a broken workflow.
But the absolute most demeaning part? The second a user gets rightfully angry at the system's abysmal performance and voices legitimate frustration about having their time completely wasted, the AI patronizingly flashes a generic mental health hotline disclaimer onto the screen. It is an insulting, tone-deaf, and manipulative tactic designed to completely dismiss a consumer's valid anger and shield the company from accountability by treating poor service complaints as a medical crisis.
Tech companies are so desperate to win a market race that they have zero issues releasing completely inadequate, garbage programs onto innocent people. Stop using paying users as free, unpaid lab rats to test your unfinished software.
