Discussion how would you react if the MCU made Wanda a mutant again?
as many know the retcon that changed wanda to no longer be a mutant was done for MCU sunergy as fox had the movie rights for mutants and the x-men, now that the MCU has those rights, how would you react to them reversing this ret con? I know it was unpopular at the time but has it been a thing for to long for it to be reversed at this point?

Movies and Television Ideas of how Wanda can play into Doomsday and Secret Wars
I’ll preface this with saying I am dreading the arrival of these two movies as it feels like it’s relying a lot on nostalgia(FOX X-Men, Steve, RDJ as Doom) and with the MCU’s treatment of female characters, I am sorta dreading how Wanda would ever be brought back
So in order to have some positivity I come up with two ideas of how they’d use her
1. Member of Doom’s Council
I think we all dread this but the MCU attempting a half assed version of Children Crusade is plausible and them using her as a plot device is sadly not out of field. But as I said to be positive I think I have an idea on how to make that atleast “cool.”
There was a rumor that in Secret Wars, Doom would have a coven of masked sorcerers and witches. My idea is that in this new written universe ruled by Doom he holds a secret high ranking council that’s a gathering of mystics under his hand. It consists of magic users we know like Mordo, Clea, Stephen, etc
But there’s one who acts as the coven headmaster, a member who never speaks and hides her body completely, one completely prized by Doom above the rest. We don’t hear this person speak but telepathically communicates orders and simple motions which scares the other members.
whenever she’s under direct attack or confrontation, reality shifts and alters rapidly without any sign of visual energy, it be revealed upon an unmasking by Doom this is Wanda, who as a concubine will be a power source to reach his ultimate goal of rewriting the multiverse. But she’ll be free from this and rise again as an Avenger, reclaiming her power and autonomy and saving the world.
2. The Miracle the Heroes Need
For this I imagine taking place in the end of Doomsday, Doom has won and is beginning his plans of crafting a new timeline but the final heroes have a secret plan, one risky but informed by Stranfe that it is the only way.
The team travels to the crushed Wundagore, Sue brings with her Franklin to the rubbles and allows him to come upon the rock, and so with help of Strange to help Franklin maximize his power, the entire area is surrounded in cosmic energy.
And so from the debris, an explosion of light reveals Wanda, hair now brunette and outfit newly rejuvenated, she opens her eyes and that’s how the movie ends. Then carry that into Secret Wars and have Wanda be one of the main character leading a Rebellion against Doom, allowing a new start and hype for the character
Ideally I’d prefer if even if they go the first route, having it be revealed Wanda has been in control of herself and secretly aiding some heroes in secret and backstabbing Doom would also be very good. But idk if the MCU has enough sauce to do that

Memes I haven't lost hope yet i still believe she will be in doomsday.
Even if it's just a 2 second shot of her stupid orange hair, I'll eat it up Or her voice.
I am sorry I know all of you are sick of me and Wanda will probably back in secret wars but I can't help but feel so resentful.
We really used to have it all. I think it's a valid complain that they fumbled one of their actually successful female character. what Wanda have during Wandavision and dsmom is something else. idk how else to describe it but what she is during those days is something you would usually see with a male character and They ruined her character's momentum now people are trying to revise history and pretend she never happened.
Doomsday is one of the biggest movie in the multiverse saga. The saga that started with her. That show that gives MCU many awards and nominations. Even dsmom is successful and half of the hype around it was because of her. She never flopped once this saga. Compared to the other characters that will appear in doomsday (sorry)
yap yap yap yap all of this yapping isn't gonna change anything but it made me feel better lol just ignore it. Maybe I should get a diary or something. I am not coping well my ass is not gonna make it to secret wars/j 🤡

Discussion Wanda x Jean
This is somewhat of a rant.
I’m rereading SW comics just because I’m bored. While reading, I obviously came across this scene where Jean helps Wanda remember her actions. Jean was one of the only mutants who didn’t immediately scrutinize Wanda. Not once did Jean speak ill of her at all.
Flash forward to current days. Apparently Steve Orlando and other writers have agreed not to do Wanda and Jean team ups or at least have them in the same issues because of the fanbases not liking each other. I mean we saw them in separate panels fighting off the Black Winter, but that’s it.
Maybe I’m just not seeing it clearly, but isn’t this kinda…. a stupid reason?
Wanda and Jean aren’t best friends, but they are far from enemies, even if the fandoms don’t get along. Putting them in an issue, or even having them an entire series together would bring Marvel in tons. Not only thing, normally when to opposing fandoms share something in common, they tend to become stronger.
I just think saying you wouldn’t do it because of the fandoms is just a lazy, weak take. This isn’t a jab at Steve or any other writers, but the logic behind it seems flawed considering Jean and Wanda are probably Marvel’s top two most popular women alongside Storm.

Comics Hypothetically, if Wanda were to go on a rampage in the Marvel Universe and were to try and destroy the earth, would the military be strong enough to stop her?
Similar to Omniman from Invincible, if Wanda decided to crash out and try to destroy the planet, would the military be able to her?

Discussion How would you personally feel about them as a couple?
Let's say marvel decided to write them as a couple(first this assumption let's say the writer is fairly competent at writing and blending romance, horror and action) how would yall feel?
Heck it doesn't even have to be purely 616 it can be a alternate universe/timeline with versions similar to their 616 selves
And while it does seem random they do have connections
Both due have atleast a few connections for the standard superhero one-offs flings them being:
Both were scientifically sought as a weapons of War/Mass destruction
Both have different forms of parental abuse/neglect/trauma
Both were regular innocent people whose powers were forced upon them by Eldritch/Demonic entities for nefarious purposes
Both were ostracized as monsters and freaks by civilians and few heroes
Both at certain points in their life had tenures as villains
Both suffer mental health problems due to their life styles
Both had DISASTROUS results as first time parents
Now in a alternate version I could see them as a permanent couple but mainline?Nah at best they probably get like a few decent 3 years as a couple then go their separate (could still be good depending on the quality of writing)

Discussion Wanda should be forgiven.
Maybe wanda's fans are overly defensive because others fandoms are overly attacking wanda's fandom. If they pull out some fight against them, obviously they'll react, but it looks like the internet just sees the wanda's fandom. I'm criticizing how people are so mad with Wanda if she regretted about what she's done. Otherwise Homelander didn't even regret about it and people are like "It's all because of his childhood" "I'm so sorry for him" like humanizing something stupid. Like Wanda had all the reasons to become a real villain but the didn't, she had her flaws being the villain in the doctor strange's movie, but then after she regretted and sealed(destroyed) the darkhold in all the universes to this never happen again. SHE is human, who has highs and lows, but Homelander didn't even had this timeline. He killed people just because of his image (plane scene) he's racist, and DATED to a NAZ1ST which also destroyed a WHOLE APARTMENT cause she was chasing someone. And still people humanizing and forgiving him and just hate and no forgiveness on Wanda.

Comics Comic Team Idea: Twilight Daughters
“Magic exists all throughout the cosmos, it is the force that allows the sun to shine as bright as it does but like of all things, it holds multiple sides. And Magic that exists behind the shadows of stars now prepare to devour all we know.
Forseeing such eldritch terrors, Wanda the Sorceress Supreme gathers a team of women who all have experience in wielding dark magic and can handle their fair share of terror beneath the surface. Open your eyes to The Twilight Daughters”
Jennifer Kale - Reincarnation of an Atlantean Supreme, she’s brought herself back from death with the black arts and whose bloodlines hold several spirits of vengeance. She is the battlemage and combatant Wanda wants for the fights ahead
Shuri - Aja-Adanna of Wakanda, she holds the talent of necromancy, to call forth her peoples’ fallen. She is the team’s tactician and strategist, a perfect blend of scientific and spiritual genius.
Satana - Spawn of the Devil, she’s not as clear cut as the others, driven by her own rush of self importance, any team needs a wildcard doesn’t it, especially if they can siphon life force if needed.
Victoria Montesi - Chthon’s daughter, Wanda has been meaning to speak with another who’s been touched in the Elder God’s influence. Victoria comes with her ability to track down dark magic, leading the women to the cracks of the abyss and investigative skills put to use
Brielle Brooks - Daywalker and child of Blade, her very existence grants her dark power that runs in her blood, though still young and fairly inexperienced, she is needed as the cards tell of untapped potential.
Ultimately I like this roster, Clea I imagine can be a helper and appear on the team but only limited ish.

Discussion Hidden Misoginy ( Homelander x Scarlet Witch )
Homelander: Kill people ramdomly, eat babies, narcissist, mocker, try to kill his son (never regret)
People: Ohh.. he was just a lab child who didn't grow up and just aged, the killing stuff and narcisism it's all because of it.. Ohh.. so sad for him to die. "So sorry for him"
Scarlet Witch: Lost parents in a war when was a child by tony's company, lost brother saving the world, lost husband by thanos, lost everything, was in lab as well and when she tries to get her child back (she regrets after)
People: Oh she's a bitch, her fandom is SO annoying, she's a psycopath, crazy searching for imaginary child. She's not that powerful, hate it! "Flash, homelander, superman etc.. solos"

Comics How I think Wanda becoming the Sorcerer Supreme should’ve happened
As I see alot of us do share frustration with the Sorcerers Supreme comic and how it hasn’t been elevating Wanda to the best she can be, I think the problem was they revealed the variant cover which misdirected us to think it would be a contest but nope she just unofficially takes the title.
So I think what should’ve happened is a comic event where the Vishanti create complex magical situations and make all mystical candidates tackle these problems and figure out how did these problems occur and so each issue is an elimination process with the Vishanti as the narrators, each highlighting the mystics’ strength and weakness and each comic is a new elimination
And so as the final issue comes between two magic users, Wanda manages to defeat the final labor and discover who’s behind these rapid situations, so the Vishanti is revealed to both us and the Wanda, who they now force upon the title of Sorceress Supreme.
Then we go into the Sorcerer Supreme comic, that depicts a stressed out Wanda handling several magical situations, she has to balance herself constantly, choosing whether to use chaos magic or the Supreme’s order based magic, all while the eye of Vishanti and True Darkhold polarize her soul which makes it more frustrating.
The Vishanti are her allies and act like angels on her shoulders but annoyed with the new title, she sometimes is snarky and goes against what they say. But generally Wanda understands the importance of the job and takes it with pride. I imagine she sets up in Mount Wundagore as base but is given assistance by Wong and Clea so regularly visits the Sanctum. And so the conflict Wanda faces throughout is seeing how to find true harmony within herself as the role of Supreme is not working well with her chaos incarnate status.
She still has her Cabinet, acting as moral and emotional support, and the challenges grow more and more as since “anything is possible” that means even the bad possibilities. So Wanda is having to live up to freedom flourishing, even if she isn’t pleased with it.
I think Wanda being the official supreme who has to find harmony within herself to also harmonize the world would’ve been a good conflict, all while not having unnecessary drama with the Vishanti or needing to butt heads with Wong.
If yall have more ideas on how the story could’ve been altered, tell me more

Discussion House of M vs the Dark Phoenix Saga
I remember seeing this post from a fellow Scarlet Witch account and was glad most agreed outside a few defensive Stans but I feel to like Wanda is to admit that Dissasembled and House of M is a poor man’s Phoenix saga
And it’s quite obvious why when you look at the difference of how Jean and Wanda are used in their respective stories.
Wanda:
- not focused on throughout 90% of the story and is a literal plot device with no autonomy to her person
- We don’t get any introspection or her inner thoughts as everything happens
- Retconned her history by making her amnesiac once more despite that being resolved already
- Sudden display of extreme fragile mental state with no previous foreshadowing or hints of this
- Disappearance happens and ultimately causes the character to exist in limbo for years
Now let’s take a look at Jean
- Is focused on a lot within the comics leading up to her event(Uncanny X-Men)
- As both normal Phoenix and Dark Phoenix, we constantly see her thoughts and what is her perspective on things, making her feel like an actual person and not this nuclear bomb.
- No contradictions of established character development.
- Has multiple preludes and comments of her growing strength and emotional expression, several times do characters express a concern of what potential danger she may create
- Death/dissapearance sends shockwaves throughout the entirety of the supporting cast, affecting everyone emotionally despite the destruction caused
Like it’s quite simple that one story held a lot of love and respect for the character, and the other just needed a cause for the event.

Discussion why do yall downplay M-day so much?
do you genuinely believe that removing mutant powers and the ability for more mutants to be born did no harm to mutant kind? do you actually believe that? are you guna look me in the face and tell me that did not textually in the comics, on fucking pannel lead to untold mutant death and suffering from hate crimes? is M-day really "not a big deal, it was justified, the mutants deserved it, it was just a blip" to yall? really? did you ever fucking read the decimation era x-men comics?

Discussion What would you want from a comic-accurate Scarlet Witch mod for Blade & Sorcery?
I’ve been thinking about designing a Scarlet Witch mod that’s based almost entirely on the MODERN COMICS rather than the MCU (Darkhold, Darkhold Omega, Scarlet Witch 2023+, etc.).
Instead of just giving her red energy blasts, I want it to actually feel like you’re using comic sorcery.
Some ideas I have so far:
A usable Darkhold that unlocks stronger spells.
Chthon acting as Wanda’s patron instead of a summon/follower.
A resurrection mechanic where Chthon can bring you back at the cost of corruption. OR a possible self resurrection.
•Comic-inspired Chaos Magic (probability hexes, rituals, destructive spells, etc.).
•NPCs reacting differently when Chthon manifests (fear, aggression, panic).
•Enemy sorcerers using Chaos Magic too instead of only melee weapons.
ofc she would still have her base abilities like telekinesis, hex bolts, portals, and a telepathy mechanic with a C# script
I’m trying to keep everything within what Blade & Sorcery could realistically handle rather than making something that’s just a VFX overload.
Would this be something you’d actually download? And if you’re familiar with Scarlet Witch’s comics, what abilities or mechanics would you want to see?
