Far left is the first one I did and most recent one last, switching to a chaos black primer made a big difference and the streaking is gone thank goodness. I think my green edge highlights might still be abit too conservative/dull and im still not super impressed with my eyes but def getting better, next one im going to try print out a paper stencil and maybe do the salamander logo if it works well (or if anyone else has better ideas lmk).

I created a kitbash using a rigged Terminator model I had, combined with some models I got from Cults (since they were 3D-printable models, I optimized and textured them)

So with the new balance data slate some of our key units have had points changes; infernus marines are up 10+ per 10-strong squad, while aggressors got decent points cuts. While these and the force disposition switch to priority assets is very big for all of us, an interesting change happened to Bladeguard Veterans, whose ability has been reworked. I know a lot of us run them with Adrax, so I am very curious if this is more of a nerf, buff or just a change.

I've tried about six different schemes now and think I've narrowed it down but can't decide what looks better out of these two styles.

I'm very close to getting to 2000pts, i'm just missing a land raider redeemer, gladiator Valiant and 5 infernus marines, i'm thinking about starting another army after i get to 2k, should i? Or should i go on to 3k?

This is the second mini I’ve painted after ~18 year break, thought I’d try and do one for all of the coolest chapters. Not sure why the green is so glossy or why I swapped the backpack and helmet colours. Anyway I think he needs so orange somewhere? Feedback welcome!

Have an RTT coming up this weekend and with this new balance dataslate I feel like we got kind of screwed. Stern guard with fusillade no longer an anti tank threat. Point hikes and I’d much rather be purge the foe. I am at a loss with what to do with my list. Suggestions welcome, List below

Just curious if both the Salamander Themed Detachments going from Purge the Foe to Priority Assets will affect your Army in any way? For me, I am tempted to drop Librarius in favor of the Vengeful Host to make use of the Vanguard + JP Captain w/Immolator combo instead of the Sternguard one.

My Vulkans finally finished after sitting on my shelf for almost 6 months. Finished my guard army so I started painting my Salmaders.

Take the lizard mount from the root line spear kit and mount a space marine with a thunder hammer the multi melta and crap and you got some dragon tamer outriders. Only real problem is that there’s not enough alternate builds to make a full squad of diverse poses but I’ll manage

Hey all I'm trying to collect every salamander specific 40k mini there is. I have Vulkan hestan, agatone, Xavier, ashmantle and the guy from heroes, if anyone knows someone selling a Garran please let me know. And if you know anymore salamander specific minis let me know. Thanks in advance.

My flying prometheum bearers are now sad they cannot burninate all the heretics.

Edit: Was corrected that I had missed the war gear line that hand flamers can be kept but without the mastercrafted power swords. My fault for wanting the best of both worlds.

Need to do some relic touch/clean up, flames, transfers, and then nuln oil bath lol! Would love to hear thoughts!

Not sure how I feel about the Tabard with the with purity seals overtop
