Went against another strong Salamanders player, both went recon. Here’s was Firestorm. I was Forgefather. Both of us had the Librarian detachment too.
I went first. Scouts secured central objective, small Infernus in Impulsor rushed forward to draw him out. He had to engage, and ended up losing his land raider and aggressors under devastating firepower from two landraiders. Helped that I rolled hot, he didn’t. But we both agreed my list was the stronger regardless of dice rolls. Here it is below if interested. Intercessors screened out my home, while the assault intercessors helped to screen my Sternguard from his deep striking Infernus.
