I'm finishing a first-person narrative game as my student project (SILVA, a quiet Studio Ghibli / Frieren mood). I need a voice for a small part: a researcher whose old notebook entries get read aloud in the game.
Looking for: a calmer, slightly older-sounding woman. English — quiet and contemplative, like reading your own notes to yourself, not performed.
How the casting works: just record these two lines and send them my way. A phone recording is totally fine for the audition.
"Day seventy. The patterns are not random. They lead somewhere."
"Day ninety-one. I cannot tell if I am studying it, or it is studying me."
If I pick you, I'll send you the full set — it's only 4–5 short lines total — with a bit of direction, and you do one quick recording session. Dry recording (no reverb or effects), quiet room, a decent mic. I handle all the post-processing myself.
I'm reviewing today and will get back to everyone. You'll be credited in the game.
