Character Summary

Zack Fair is an aspiring hero who trains briefly at the Olympus Coliseum. He’s a tad goofy, but also extremely optimistic, cheerful, and high-spirited, driven by an earnest dream to become a true hero.

Phil initially assigns him to compete against Hercules, then the two work together with Ventus to defeat Unversed attacking the town. After Ventus’ departure, Zack is manipulated by the God Hades to fight Terra, controlled using the power of Darkness. Terra is able to free him and Zack expresses his gratitude, doubling his efforts to become stronger so he can face Terra again. While continuing his training he meets Aqua, asking her out and being promptly rejected. Zack is last seen observing a black feather that lands in front of him, hinting that he may have some connection with Sephiroth.

Character Summary

Auron is one of the undead souls in Hades’ arsenal, described by the God of Death as “the mother of all bad guys.” When Hades offers him freedom in exchange for defeating Hercules in battle, Auron promptly declines before attacking his host.

Auron appears as a strict, no-nonsense warrior with a dry wit. He views himself as a Guardian, devoting his life to protecting those in need and putting others before himself without hesitation. His experiences from his mortal life have strengthened his spirit. A man of unshakable resolve and loyalty to those he protects, he is seen by his peers as an excellent role model more than worthy of the Guardian role. His goal in (after)life is to find peace and a sense of fulfillment so he can finally be allowed to rest.

Well...I guess it doesn't matter who gets killed. Killing is killing. But, sometimes...I can't help but think...how great it would be to live a peaceful life with someone I love. That part of myself makes me wanna puke.

One of the two heirs to the Poison Clan, Hikaru Gero iis the main protagonist of MarriageToxin. After his grandmother would order that he or his sister needed to produce an heir, Gero would take on the duty to save his sister's active relationship (alongside maybe finding someone for himself). After saving Mei Kinosaki from execution, they would team up, with Mei helping Gero find love on the way.

He would get caught up in several situations, from helping Ushio with the fire clan to fighting against the Gun Clan alongside the Beast Clan. Gero would meet a variety of potential marriage partners and people, from Ushio to Kimie. He would also face off against a variety of people and befriend others, such as Haruko and Leo Beppu.

Tayagum and Akuudan

Tayagum and Akuudan are a pair of married Water Tribe men. While serving as agents of Chief Oyaluk, they became involved in a diplomatic incident and were imprisoned by the Earth King. Avatar Yangchen negotiated their release, and thereafter they became two of Yangchen’s most trusted companions. They run an inn in the city of Jonduri that doubles as a base for the Avatar.

Tayagum

“There’s a big difference between holding a prisoner and getting them to talk. You taught the Avatar that lesson pretty good, and the two of us, well, we’ve known it for a long time. Tayagum is a Waterbender and an experienced sailor. He has a surly personality and is devoted to the Avatar but suspicious of anyone else.

Summary

The Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, later named the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee, was founded in the hope of restoring Radiant Garden to its former glory and eradicating the Heartless infestation from the town for good. Cid created a defense system called Claymores that would destroy weaker Heartless and occupy stronger ones until a committee member could arrive to dispose of them. When an army Heartless swarmed the town, the Committee defended it alongside Sora and friends. Within a year's work, the committee managed to restore most of the town's former image.

All members of the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee carry a membership card. Their meetings take place in Merlin's house inside the town walls.

Aerith acts as a gentle guide, offering advice and support to Sora, Squall, Cloud, and others. She is shown to be very knowledgeable, particularly on the subject of Ansem and her home’s history. She is kind and cares very deeply about her friends.

Despite never physically being seen in battle, she is implied at one point to have held off waves of Heartless spawned by the MCP, coldly spurning Leon's concern over whether she would be able to handle it by herself. This suggests that she does possesses some combat abilities.

Abilities

• Memory Aerith is able to understand her connection to Sora and discerns the deceptive nature of Castle Oblivion.² While Memory Aerith isn’t the real Aerith, she is based on Sora’s memories of the real Aerith, suggesting the real Aerith is also this insightful.

Cid Highwind

Cid is is an expert pilot and mechanic originally from Radiant Garden. He is one of the first characters that Sora befriends in Traverse Town, first owning an Accessory Shop in the center of the town's 1st District, then later on opening a shop which specializes in Gummi Ship parts. He helps Sora and his friends navigate the universe by upgrading their Gummi Ship.

Cid is adept with computers and building programs, acting as the restoration committee’s chief engineer. He is blunt and sometimes cynical—usually about magic—but he’s deeply caring and fiercely protective.

Abilities

• He’s a capable gummi ship mechanic. and understands their capabilities.¹

• He mended the Book of Pooh.¹

• He created the claymores protecting Hollow Bastion from Heartless.³

• With Merlin’s help, he creates a program to stop the Master Control Program from attacking Hollow Bastion.²

Fairy Godmother

Sometime prior to the events of Kingdom Hearts, her world, Castle of Dreams, was destroyed by the Heartless, but she managed to escape safely. She initially resides in Merlin's study in Traverse Town. When Sora brings her Summon Gems—spirits of inhabitants from worlds consumed by darkness—she casts a spell to temporarily summon these allies into battle.

After Sora sealed Kingdom Hearts, the Fairy Godmother returned to her world with Cinderella, but she remained an ally to the heroes in reuniting with Sora.

The Gullwings

The Gullwings are a group of treasure-hunting fairies made up of Yuna, Rikku, and Paine. Yuna is unfailingly kindhearted and polite; Rikku is good-natured and ditzy; and Paine is emotionally distant and anti-social.

Initially working for Maleficent in exchange for treasure, they agree to work with Sora and Leon after Maleficent abandons them, but only if Leon pays them to do so. When confronting Sora, Donald, and Goofy, Rikku complains about Leon not having any treasure and Paine says, "And we fought for you guys", almost as if it was a crime to help someone out without receiving payment. Nonetheless, they do seem to have a strong moral compass, as they decide to let Sora off without consequence upon hearing of his troubld with Organization XIII and search for his missing friends.

• Paine performs an aerial flip, while Rikku and Yuna kick a Heartless off a cliff together.³

Character Summary

Merlin is a powerful wizard and colleague of Yen Sid, who teaches Sora in the arts of magic when the boy appears. He often appears to Sora and others with messages regarding the Book of Pooh, which he keeps in his possession. He lives in a large cottage which serves as the headquarters for the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, which he is a part of. He also helps to train Kairi and Lea with their Keyblades.

Merlin is generally calm and caring to the ones close to him. However, he can be easily annoyed, especially when people insult his talent for magic, and he will not hesitate to physically retaliate.

After finding a headset, her mind would be scanned and duplicated into the Digital Circus, where she would do her best to remain positive and happy, and keep the rest of the members from losing their minds.

Yuffie is a resident of Radiant Garden and a part of the resistance against Heartless attacks. She is a close friend of Leon, Aerith, and Cid, and befriends Sora, Donald, and Goofy when they first arrive.

She travels with Leon, whom she often refers to by his real name, Squall—this usually causes annoyance on Leon's part. She sometimes refers to herself as the "Great Ninja Yuffie", wielding a large Fuma Shuriken as her weapon.

Yuffie has a hyperactive personality, but tires out easily due to her high energy and quick movement. She is hard-working and determined, set on repairing her home and aiding Sora in his campaign against the Heartless and other foes. She is usually friendly and cheerful, if a bit mischievous.

The Captain of the Third Division and the childhood friend of Kafka Habino, Mina Ashiro is one of the defence force's most powerful personnel. Specializing as a sniper/artillery specialist due to her proficiency with guns, Mina would become a captain and would recruit Soshiro Hoshina as her blade specialist, to cover her bases.

Years later, when Kaiju no 9 would attack the country, she would play a key role, fighting against both Kaiju no 9 and the Daikaiju of the Meireki Era. Together with Kafka and the rest of the Defense Force, they would manage to take down the beast.

After the battle, Mina and the others would welcome Kafka back after he had healed from his injuries.

Kho Phon Farrus is a non-binary Alcedian archaeologist who attended the University of Barleth alongside Chelli Aphra. They developed an obsession with a historical cult called the Ascendant who created technology meant to mimic Force abilities. While competing to find Ascendant technology, Kho declared themself Aphra’s nemesis. Kho also became involved with the crime syndicate Crimson Dawn.

Kho fights primarily using two pieces of Ascendant technology - the Calling Gloves, which can manipulate metal, and the Whip of Sorrows, which can absorb and release energy.

Character Summary

Cloud Strife is an ally of Sora, Donald, and Goofy in the Kingdom Hearts universe. He comes across as stoic, cold, indifferent, and melancholic, but there’s a noble warrior underneath his gruff exterior.

He first makes his appearance in the Olympus Coliseum, striking a deal with Hades to kill Hercules in exchange for help finding his nemesis, Sephiroth. Along the way he ends up fighting Sora, and either loses to him or spares him after their battle. This results in Hades summoning Cerberus to kill Herc, Sora, and Cloud.

After Sora defeats Cerberus, Cloud apologizes for his actions and the heroes make amends. He shows up later fighting alongside Squall in another tournament, and may have an encounter with Sephiroth if Sora defeats Seph first.

By Kingdom Hearts 2 Cloud seems to have become familiar with the heroes of Hollow Bastion, working alongside Squall, Aerith, and Tifa. He’s still somewhat standoffish and obsessed with finding Sephiroth so he can overcome his inner darkness, but with the help of his friends he’s able to find a light that can guide him as he ventures onward.

Memory Cloud

Memory Cloud is a replica of the real Cloud that exists in Castle Oblivion, constructed from Sora's memories. This version of Cloud also serves as a mercenary for Memory Hades, this time to regain his lost memories. Hades promises to help him, but only if Cloud competes in the games and kills Hercules. In typical Hades fashion, Memory Hades goes back on their agreement and attempts to kill Sora, Cloud, and Hercules, inspiring the three to work together to thwart him.

When King Mickey digitizes the contents of Jiminy’s Journal to investigate mysterious messages inside it, he creates a digital universe known as the Datascape. Within this digital world, Data Cloud exists as a digital recreation of the real Cloud. Digitally.

Data-Cloud initially struggles with his past, wanting to break away from his own powerlessness. He makes a deal with the digital version of Hades to become stronger and visit other worlds in exchange for defeating Hercules and Sora. Sliske is a cunning and meticulous mahjarrat whos schemes have seen him rise to the top time and time again. He is an elusive figure who is a master over shadow magic and shapeshifting , the perfect tool kit for someone so snakelike. At some point Sliske had enough time to question his loyal to the Zarosian cause and started acting as a free agent against the factions of the other mahjarrat. His most recent scheme was a long-con scheme to steal from a ancient and forgotten fortress enhanced with magic to keep out mahjarrat intruders .The item he stole was a powerful magical artifact with the ability to control others.

• Sliske uses his shapeshifting ability to assume the identity of many others in OSRS to manipulate events and test others while being incognito. This thread will showcase Sliske preforming feats when disguised via his shapeshifting powers.

Sliske's Wights

Sliske uses necromancy and shadow magic in some kind of manner to have people serve him in death as shadowy ghost like figures. The specific flavour of necromancy Sliske uses implicitly was learnt in the Lassar undercity where when he researched the affects of the ancient pillar and the shadow realm. It is mentioned that victims of the shadows act like puppets but unlike normal necromancy, the victim's soul still exists. He prefers to use his magic on individuals who have overcome hard trials and has offered bargain to them when they live (although, there is no evidence that a bargain is needed for him to work his magic and in RS3 he make a wight accidentaly without a bargain). In total he currently controls 10 wights.

Character Summary

In a world where superheros have been real for decades, an accountant with no superpowers comes to realize his city is owned by a super villain. As he struggles to uncover this conspiracy, he falls in league with a strange blue superhero: The Tick.

A man with a past unknown even to himself, The Tick is unfailingly polite, boisterously heroic, and profoundly optimistic. Most of all, he’s 100% dedicated to the ideals of fighting for justice and obeying whatever Destiny tells him. He is an amnesiac with no memory of his past prior to meeting Arthur, driven only by a pure, earnest desire to do good and protect the downtrodden. Respect the Mahjarrat

When an sick being of great power had a nightmare she accidentality created a race of powerful shapeshifters known as the Mahjarrat based on the creatures she dreamt of. These beings had some resemblance to another on of her creations, Zaros who got tired of serving her in her sickness and departed the planet for his own freedom. Serene believes the reason the Mahjarrat were created was due to how desperate she was for Zaros to return. Due to her weakened state the Mahjarrat would be forced to return magical energy to their creator in the form of a ritual that sacrifices one of their own kin.

The Mahjarrat had an opportunity to leave the desecrated home world when they were recruited into a war on Gelinor against a familiar invader, Zaros. These conflicts split them into factions of Zarosian and Zamorakians and ultimately ended with the god Guthix casting a spell which the banished gods from Gelinor.

The Mahjarrat found themselves being some of the strongest beings on the Gelinor and took advantage of that fact. However due to war , comically bad reproduction rates and the aforementioned ritual; their population runs close to extinction. With schemes and sabotages centuries in the making executed. The next ritual threatens to be a bloodbath

Denji

Denji is a child of the far future, having been born on a megastructure riddled space colony that has been periodically under siege by "White Gauna" for at least 600 years. The Observation Bureau, an organization dedicated to the defeat of the White Gauna, took in Denji as a child and trained him to obliterate the Gauna over his formative years.

Late into his adolescence, tragedy struck. Unknown to Denji, the Bureau had been secretly planning to transform him into one of the very monsters he'd been sworn to destroy: a so-called "Black Gauna". Manifesting his powers late in the night, Denji slaughtered the Bureau in revenge and escaped to the life of a working civilian. Despite his efforts, fate comes for us all, and years after his escape his childhood friend Tadohomi tracked down poor Denji to warn him of a chain of White Gauna manifestations. Denji's good nature gets the better of him, and ABARA opens to non-stop carnage continued until the literal end of the world.

As a quick note, please understand that ABARA is not an easy work to comprehend, so some parts of this thread may be speculative. I've tried to avoid or note this where possible, but you should read the comment underneath the RT for more information.

Speed

• After hearing a White Gauna had materialized, Denji rushes out of the room at super speed, transforms, and then dashes across the city to intervene

  • Battles the White Gauna in "frozen time", being thrown across the city and piledriving through a high-rise building in the time it takes a Martial Justice team member to perceive anything had occurred at all

  • While this is, admittedly, a scan of Nayuta, Denji began this fight alone, and we do later see Denji and Nayuta working side-by-side to keep the White Gauna away from Saki and Tado

• At the end of Abara, the entire "world" (actually a giant spaceship) explodes. Using his spines, Denji forms a cocoon to somehow survive this

  • I don't know what the light that surrounds Denji's cocoon is. It seems possible that this is intended to be some miracle from the Mausoleum rescuing him, but ABARA is Nihei's most vague and opaque work by far, so nothing here is confirmed

Midnight is a villain in Gotham, who seeks to remove the hearts of everyone they deem heartless in the city. They see themselves as the new hero, who is here to replace Batman as the one who rids the streets of crime.

In reality, Midnight is April Clarkson, a policewoman who took to killing to erase the constant crime she sees in Gotham City, as a result of her troubled police family childhood leaving her with a twisted sense of justice

Character Summary

Arthur Everest (AKA Moth Boy, AKA Moth Man, AKA The Accountant, AKA Truthseeker89) is a mild-mannered part-time superhero and former accountant for The City. Timid and somewhat cowardly, Arthur is an unwavering advocate for justice who stands up for what’s right despite often feeling like he’s the least qualified person to do so.

Arthur’s origin story begins when he was just a boy, enjoying ice cream with his father. His dad went to put more money in the parking meter when an aircraft belonging to the Flag Five crashed on top of him and the car, killing him. The Terror had used a weaponized version of syphilis to destroy the Flag 5's eyes, causing them to crash their Flagship into The City. Arthur watched as The Terror's henchmen killed the Flag 5, then the Terror stole his ice cream and mocked him. A picture taken of the incident made Arthur famous when it was featured on the cover of a magazine.

Ever since that day, Arthur spent years in therapy, and was tormented by delusions and voices which he treated with medication. Although The Terror was seemingly killed by Superian a year after the death of his father, Arthur believed that the villain survived and went underground, continuing to run all the crime in The City. Collecting newspaper clippings and information, he hoped to prove this theory.

While investigating a criminal operation at a warehouse run by the Pyramid Gang, Arthur encountered a new superhero who called himself The Tick. The Tick believed that Arthur was a hero like him, ready to take out the bad guys, but their investigation went awry when the warehouse exploded.

Arthur was initially convinced by his sister to believe that The Tick was a figment of his imagination, that he was slipping back into insanity. The Tick disagree, telling Arthur that he was going sane in a crazy world. He encourages Arthur to join him in fighting crime—with Arthur's brain and The Tick's brawn, they could be an effective duo—and gives Arthur a high-tech super-suit that he procured from the warehouse the previous night. Arthur tries on the suit against his better judgement, causing the suit to sync with him. From there, his journey as a superhero would begin.

Character Summary

SPOILERS AHEAD!

Overkill is a vigilante with cybernetic enhancements, described by The City police as a "robo-ninja.” Overkill believes violence is always the best solution to any problem.

Before he became Overkill, he was known as Straight Shooter, Uncle Samson’s sidekick and a member of the Flag Five. After losing his team, his eyes, and his hands, he was rescued by AEGIS Commander Rathbone, who had the agency create artificial hands and eyes for him.

Rathbone became like a father to Overkill, [retraining him]((https://www.reddit.com/r/RTvideos/s/rdpyWv8XlT) and turning him into a heavy action operative. He became so deadly and skilled that Rathbone placed him in charge of the elite Perseus squadron. He spent years in classified war zones as a government-trained assassin.

Then another traumatic mishap, this time a mission to apprehend a super tech dealer known as The Duke, ended in the death of Overkill’s team. Believing that he would be marked as a traitor, Overkill went on the run from AEGIS and became the vigilante he is today.

Overkill is a beacon of hardened rage who punishes evildoers wherever he goes, usually (and preferably) by killing them. His dark attitude frequently clashes with the more noble seeker of justice, who see him as something of a jerk. Despite all this, there is a caring man locked inside the mental glacier underneath 10,000 tons of solid mind ice, and he does truly care for those who have earned the right to call themselves his friends people in his life.

Not much is known about who SCP-022-VN is or what his history might be beyond the fact that he appears to be a powerful reality bending humanoid entity. He claims to be responsible for creating the SCP Foundation, but due to his abilities only ever working in twos it resulted in the creation of two different SCP Foundations at the same time. At some point he decided he wanted there to only be one Foundation, so to subvert the nature of his own power he decided to threaten them into destroying each other. Inexplicably, this led to him hosting a competition between the two Foundations in their own version of the TV show “Instant Hotel”.

A swordfighting prodigy and master at a young age, Yoji Uruha was selected by Kunishige Rokuhira to wield the Enchanted Blade Kumeyuri during the Seitei War 18 years ago. Idolising Rokuhira, Uruha lost his will to live when he heard he had been killed by a group of sorcerers called the Hishaku. After spending the next 3 years under the Kamunabi's protection Uruha's safehouse was attacked by the Hishaku and his protectors were murdered while getting him to safety. It was during this assault where he met Kunishige's son Chihiro, who reignited the fire inside him and pushed him to fight back against the Hishaku so his allies' sacrifice wouldn't be in vain.

Respect AEGIS

AEGIS is a federal agency tasked with working with superheroes and fighting supervillains. The agency is responsible for enforcing the 28th Amendment—protecting the identity of superheroes from the public, and keeping a database of all active superheroes. AEGIS is supposed to use advanced technology and skilled agents to complete missions, though they are often weighed down by bureaucracy and procedures.

The AEGIS field office in The City was eventually shut down after the deaths of the original Flag Five. They reestablished their presence after The Terror’s return and defeat, resuming operations.

A magic-based hero who arrives in The City after the AEGIS branch is reopened. He possesses the 'The Blind Eye of Thirdarra’^S2E5 (a third nipple in his chest), which grants him heightened senses, spiritual awareness, and teleportation.

A retired superhero that has saved the world at least twice. He also is a lawyer. He's a bit sleazy, going to a known criminal's poker game in his off hours and hitting on women he's barely met, but is a pretty chill guy and a beloved hero.

Respect Dot Everest!

Character Summary

Dorothy "Dot" Everest is an EMT and the older sister of Arthur Everest. After losing their father at an early age during the Terror's massacre of The Flag 5, Dot looked out for the welfare of her brother, who took the traumatic event much worse.

As an adult, she trained to be an EMT and worked in The City, doing side work as a medic for the Pyramid Gang’s thugs whenever they bit off more than they could chew. This inevitably lead to her learning of Arthur’s secret life as a superhero with the Tick. While initially skeptical and cautious of her brother’s activities, she eventually comes around and becomes not only supportive, but a full-on crime-fighter herself, working alongside the vigilante Overkill. She later learns that she’s a Category, with the power of clairvoyance.

In a world of extremists and insanity, Dot tends to be the voice of reason among her friends and family. She’s a caring individual who doesn’t want to see anyone she cares about suffer, but she also accepts the responsibility to stand up for what’s right.

Character Summary

Lobstercules is a former Atlantean royal guard who appears to be a tall humanoid lobster. She is incredibly strong, able to go hand-to-hand with The Tick on multiple occasions. Initially thought to be a villain, it’s eventually revealed that she is being coerced into crime in order to protect her babies. who were being held hostage.

Her opinion of humanity has been worn by her initially horrible treatment, but once her children are safe, she becomes a loyal friend to The Tick and Arthur.
