I spent a year building a "LifeOS" app solo — planner, habits, workouts, meals, budget in one app. 3 subscribers so far. Roast my app.
Solo dev here. A year ago I was paying for five different apps — habit tracker, workout log, calorie counter, budget app, meditation app — and none of them talked to each other. So I built Flexy: a LifeOS that brings all of them into one iOS app, flowing into a single daily plan.
I'll be honest about where I am: the app is live, localized in 13 languages, obsessively polished (native Liquid Glass on iOS 26, everything hand-crafted)... and I have 3 paying subscribers. Building turned out to be the easy part — getting anyone to see it is the real boss fight.
One thing I recently learned the hard way: I used to force account creation before you could even see the app. People downloaded, hit the signup wall, and left. Last week I shipped guest mode — you now walk straight in, no account, and your data stays on your device.
If you try it, I'd genuinely love your honest feedback — the app, the store page, the pricing, roast anything. I reply to everyone.
