Sergeant has a 38mm riot gun; mil enthusiast has a QBZ-95-1

Now the CCG isn't responsible for riot control at all, however the 38mm riot gun(in service with People's armed police and some local SWAT units) has been used as a way to clear rooms in the past by launching flashbangs/tear gas from a neighbouring building.

Additionally, in 2021 the Guangzhou SWAT team, also used flashbangs against speedboats during anti-smuggling operations along the pearl river.

the CCG 2nd spec ops group has been involved in intercepting armed drug traffickers. (not much else is known about them)

Yep, these are railway police officers. (dudes in the back are regular patrol(or police station officers(派出所民警) as known in china), dudes in the front are SWAT);

the patrol officers seem to be armed with QSZ-92G pistols along with man catchers, riot shields and batons; the SWAT officers have QSZ-92Gs, one type 79 submachine gun and arm shields.

Hainan province is an island, therefore trains in hainan need to ride on a ferry(the guangdong-hainan railway); the Haikou railway PD's yuehai railway south pier police station has jurisdiction over said ferry.(in the photo)

This training exercise was conducted between the haikou railway PD(the south pier police station and SWAT team) along with the Xinhai maritime safety office(of the China maritime safety administration) and Hainan coast guard bureau(china coast guard);

I didn't see the coast guard in any other pics but it appears the railway police officers boarded the ferry using MSA vessels. (coast guard also operates three spec ops groups.)

(For china, the "SWAT" branch is actually more similar to LAPD metro, while the "commando units" or "assault teams" are more similar to american SWAT)

Officer has a QCQ-171 and pistol(likely QSZ-92G); CS/LS7(export version; used by People's armed police spec ops, mainland SWAT and HKPF) has picatinny rails under the barrel; QCQ-171(SWAT+PAP+PLA)s have a normal handguard instead.

The chengdu SWAT is one of china's best and most experienced SWAT units, most notably participating in a 2015 hostage rescue in neighbouring Deyang(who also has a great SWAT team nowadays).

FYI the Delong border inspection station is located in delong township, napo county, Baise city, guangxi at the Delong toll station along the S86 provincial expressway(Baise-pingmeng port of entry expressway). It is subordinate to the NIA's Baise border management detachment.

The NIA operates multiple interior checkpoints in border cities of china; chinese police fixed checkpoints in general are often(but not always) situated on toll stations such as in this case.
